Just got into hiking, and I bought these due to a recommendation. I’m glad I listened. They are comfortable, lightweight, super grippy and waterproof. My 1st hike was 4 4000 footers in NH. Didn’t have one issue with the shoe. Definitely would recommend.
Thank you for sharing your great review!
Overall comfortable shoe, I am finding that this particular shoe especially the agility type of shoe, the tread seems to wear out very easily. This is my fourth pair so far
We value your feedback.
Put this shoe on, right from the box and wore it comfortably all day! The outside sole tread is extra cushy and felt a little odd for a few steps, but then felt perfect! This shoe is comfortable beyond belief!
We're thankful!
Really loving this shoe! Grip is unreal and feet stay dry. Cushion isn’t super soft but it works great. Definitely feels very protected too!
Thanks for the awesome feedback! We're happy you love them!
i just got these as a gift and wow they are bad as i could see the glue as soon as I opened the box... this is a shoe meant only for people with long narrow feet as the front of the shoe is super narrow... the other problem is the low ankle with zero support, my foot always felt like it was about to slip out... the insoles are cheap thick and uncomfortable with plenty of slippage... i even tried to lace them using the extra hole and still no improvement as the shoe gears up to become wide towards the anke area which makes no sense... i wish i could return these but unfortunately after one wear they look like they've been used for 3 months
Awesome comfort, stability, & cushion...I used them at Zion National Park
Thank you for your great review!
Another great shoe from Merrell. I wear this pair frequently. I like the support of the cushion system; it is supple without being too soft like memory foam footwear. The upper feels more supportive than the non-GoreTex version. It just feels like my foot is better protected. I appreciate the reinforcement at the toe area, also. The unfortunate thing is that I gravitate towards this pair frequently and, as a result, I have worn down the tread of the sole. I'm nit going to lie, but this pair has seen more urban trekking than anything else. I've only had this pair about three months. I was hoping for longer durability but they gave been put through a lot of miles
We love to hear that! Thank you for sharing this awesome feedback!
Heading into PNW winter, needed something that could handle wet AND cold. Shoes felt a bit stiff for first km on trail, but have since worked in nicely. Surprisingly nimble for a GoreTex shoe, not an Ultra given its weight, but definitely handles wet, slippery, tech, mud, rocky trails with confidence. Feet feel well supported, gusseted tongue hugs nicely, heel cup is solid and stable but comfortable. No rubbing, no hot-spots. Avg trail run anywhere between 5km to 15km. Using these on cold wet rainy days.
Thank you for the great feedback!
I got the blue and orange version. I bought it because I ALWAYS own a pair of Gore-Tex shoes for commuting. I'm very picky with my footwear, and trying to find everything I want in a shoe for commuting is difficult. I want Gore-Tex, Vibram, lightweight & cushioned. These are amazing, I'd say likely the most cushioned shoes I've ever worn for everyday walking outside/trail walking. Usually those types of shoes I get foot fatigue in within about 2 hours, but not with these. (I mostly wear the Asics Nimbus shoe for working) These I love so much, I wound up buying a second pair. I HIGHLY recommend these!
When I first got the Agility Peak 5 Gor-tex shoes my expectations were pretty high considering the price tag and now after about a month of wearing them daily I can confidently say they are the most comfortable shoes i have ever worn. After about 12 hours my feet do start to hurt but that's not because of the shoes it's because I've been running all day long and I have never had a shoe be comfortable for that long. Wether you are running, Walking or hiking or just need to go place to place real quick I can't recommend these enough. They are perfect for whatever you are doing and definitely worth the money. I can't wait to see what they do for the Agility Peak 6 because I'll be buying those too!
Thank you for your feedback.
