Amazing!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited unboxing my goal zero Yeti 500 watt power bank. I cannot wait to take this thing camping!! It has everything you need to charge your phone, electronics, use a blender, hair dryer, plug in a heating blanket, etc. I fully charged mine before use and it says to plug it in every once in a while and charge to keep the battery good. I love the packaging and the overall look of the yeti. It’s sleek, with black and green accents. It’s a perfect size and not too heavy to carry. It’s not overly loud when turned on. It has solar charging if you wish to buy the panels. It has several ports for all kinds of different plugs (usb, car, AC) and Watts. It is rainproof and mobile app enabled. We have frequent monsoon storms where the power goes out and if that ever happens, I know we’ll be in good hands with this. I have tested in on my phone and laptop and it works like a dream. It’s going to be the star of the show when everyone wants to use it camping and I can’t wait to really put it to the test. There are so many things I will be able to bring that I wasn’t able to before. Score!!!
Personal power station!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This small but powerful power station is a game changer. I’ve found several key uses for it already and will probably discover more. For power outages I can run a fan to cool the room or power a small space heater in the winter. Of course charging devices is important and the Yeti is invaluable for that. Outside, recharging power tools on the fly makes life so much simpler. I’m not a camper but my outdoorsy friends have already shown an interest because of all the possibilities when off the grid. The compact size (11” x 8” x 8” approx.) and weight make this the perfect backup for any home. The super fast charging time is a bonus.
Tiny but MIGHTY!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well this couldn’t have come at a better time! We just finished building our shed on the side of the house and we were going to run an extension cord allllll the way around the house to power anything inside. Now, we don’t have to! Not only can we use it at home and around the house, but we have tried 2 different brands of portable power stations around the same price and they wouldn’t power ANYTHING. We were able to charge this from 90%-100% in about 8 minutes. So even if you are out dry camping and run out of juice you can charge it in town somewhere if needed. Love the lighted display and the fact that there are covers to protect all the important things on the front and back! I also had this in the shed and was comfortable enough to bring it right inside. It’s a tiny little thing! Smaller than a standard single lunch box
Works well!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did receive this product for free in exchange for a review. This works pretty well I haven’t had it too long to give it 5 stars but from what I can’t tell it gets the job done. Charged a power tool battery pack fairly quickly. Would be great for a day out at the beach or camping when you need to plug something in for a bit.
Passed our first test use when power went out!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We actually had a chance to use this great item yesterday when our power went out for about an hour or so! It powered an iPhone and our WiFi router and worked great! It’s a nice looking and great working product that we believe we’ll be using a lot in the future - highly recommended!
Powerful portable power station
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Yeti 500 portable power station is incredibly handy to have at home. I really wish I had it during the snowstorm a few years back. I'm thrilled to have been given the chance to test it out. When I opened the box, I was pleasantly surprised by how compact yet powerful the power station is. It takes approximately 1.5 hours to charge it fully. The best part is, there are multiple ways to recharge it - through solar power, the car, or the wall. I'm definitely taking it with me to the beach or on my next camping trip.
Be prepared for anything with Yeti
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just the product you need to be prepared for anything. Over 5 days of power usage. Easy to move around and carry from place to place. Takes 2 hours to charge fully. I am so happy with my yeti
Not pure sine wave. Goal zero post sales support s
Almost ruined my camping trip. 120v outlet does not provide “pure sine wave” as described. Goal Zero support are unhelpful. My small iceco cooler works on residential power and the 120v outlet of my truck, but not Yeti power. Goal zero wants me to spend hours plugging in an assortment of items around the house to verify. The cooler works. Just not on yeti power.

Very disappointing. Won’t charge.
I bought this and took it camping for a week. It has the strange habit of discharging itself with nothing plugged in. It would be at 80% in the morning, I would turn it off and unplug everything, and come back in the evening to it being at 75%. It also didn’t seem to charge an iPad very often without running down to near 20%. Their claims of being able to charge a bunch of stuff many times seems completely overblown. my biggest complaint is that after only that one week of use, I took it home and charged it back up to 100% and then unplugged it and powered it down for a couple months. When I went to charge it up to go on a camp out again it would not charge at all. I’ve reset things and done whatever you see on the Internet, but this thing won’t charge and I’m left with a very heavy paperweight. This thing has only been charged 11 times!
