The women's Terra Peak from The North Face is a commendable choice for outdoor enthusiasts, offering a good balance of comfort and performance. The lightweight fabric is breathable and quick-drying, which is great for hiking in variable weather conditions. However, while the jacket provides decent insulation, some users might find it lacking in extreme cold. It would be beneficial to enhance the variety of colors and design options, catering to more personal styles. Additionally, incorporating more eco-friendly materials would appeal to environmentally conscious consumers. Overall, it's a solid piece, but with a few improvements, it could stand out even more in the competitive outdoor market.
WOW....Very well made Thermo Vest.True colors. Superlight while very cozy over a long sleeve shirt. Love the inner zipper and super soft and warm pockets which are deep enough to carry phone and keys.Very lightweight and will be easy to pack. Pull zippers with interior color pulls. Tight around my midsection (middle aged female) 5'9 at 175...fits good and snug. Very happy with this NF vest. Nicer than Patagonia in my humble opinion. REI had great email communication letting me know about my order and also arrived earlier than first arrival date. 100 % HAPPY with REI and my NF vest.
Very soft..good quality ...pockets are soft inside, deep with good zipper and pull. Inside pocket/zipper. Color is just like website.Locker hang tab. Very warm for my core..I wear over hoodie or long sleeve thermo.Soft on chin.Easy zip up and down. I can smash into small space for storage. The only negative it makes "swoosh" noise from moving. Very satisfied with North Face as I usually purchase Patagonia and in my opinion NF is great ..well made for my winter collection :)
I loved this Mauve vest with the hot pink interior when in the store initially, but wasn't sure how often I'd wear it due to the color not being as versatile, so I purchased the Black Terra vest AND Black Terra Hooded coat that day cold snowy day while in STL Missouri back in January. I wasn't sure about the synthetic down material (I'm a believer in the real down warmth). I wore the best about every day for a week and loved it so much I went back and bought this Mauve one online a week later. You can never have to many warm vests you can wear this vest fall, winter and spring. I've found It's not to much for even a 50's degree day with the DOTKNIT 1/4 zip thermal under it. I wish they had more colors! This vest is great for chilly days with sweatshirt or sweater as they Block the wind, repel rain and are super warm. I've found they compress and work great under both of my North Face coats ( Terra Peak and the Artic Down Parka) for extra warmth on really cold days.
The best feature of this vest is tge double zipper!!!! Nice non-down puffer vest. Not bulky ... yet, not thin. Can wear solo or under a jacket. The green is a nice color for fall & winter.
Seemed great, loved the color. It was too short for me sadly. I have a longer torso and the style is shorter these days which makes finding tops that fit challenging right now.
I have only worn the vest a few times in the morning, but it fits nicely. Hoping to wear it more this winter with the white North Face fleece. Very comfortable and warm.
I love this vest! It's lightweight but also warm - can be worn alone (over a shirt, sweater) or easily under a coat for added warmth. Very versatile!
Exactly as described and exactly what I wanted. Just wanted a lightweight vest for the fall season. I love it.
I love this vest and the color purple! I wear it all the time you can dress it up or down. Very true to size.
