Finally, a real improvement over the lobster-claw glove. I have ulnar nerve palsy, which causes weakness and poor coordination in my ring and little fingers - especially in colder weather. These gloves keep my affected fingers together, warm and cozy, while still giving my middle and index fingers full independence. The result is noticeably better coordination and control of the handlebars, brake levers, and shifters when riding in cooler to cold conditions. No more guessing whether I actually have a solid grip on the brakes or bars. Please make this same style in a lighter leather version? Thank you for making these, and changing my attitude about cold weather riding.

Feel looser going on than a lot of the other cool season riding gloves that I have tried, but that looseness of fit does not affect feel or control, it just makes them easier to get on and off. Wore them on a 20 mile trail ride the other morning with temperatures in the upper 40s to low 50s F. and did not feel the need to take them off due to overheating and dampness until the last mile of the ride. Palms are not too padded, so you can still feel the grips and the trail, and the four-finger design means that you can single-finger the brake levers for control and still have your smallest two fingers keeping each other warm. Definitely keeping them as part of my winter riding kit.

Bought these gloves to commute in the New Zealand winter and do some winter bikepacking. They are NOT waterproof and were average at keeping my fingers warm.

I actually bought a pair for Nordic skiing. I wanted a pair of gloves that were waterproof, good for high aerobic exercise but also warm enough on the mountain. I got all three with the purchase, very satisfied with its design and functionality. Overall, there isn’t much that I’m dissatisfied with about the gloves for its intended purpose. The wrist strap is a little low for anything other than biking but I wouldn’t say that’s a negative for what I’ve used it for. They are an athletic fit, which is great for exercise use, but they fall short for static use.

2 year use for daily bike commute and weekend rides: wear about 5 months of the year nearly daily. Pros: - Build quality: still holding on strong with no rips/fraying or loose stitching after 2 winters of use. - Ergonomics: finger design, grippy palm ideal for bike riding, shifting. - Water proof: get wet, but don't soak through to the hand or compromise warmth. - Smell: no sweaty hand smell with normal care. Cons: - Weather: good fit down to approx 38-40 degrees, but the dorsum of the index finger may benefit from a bit more insulation-it gets cold due to wind first/early. - Wrist strap: very well built, but thick enough to be uncomfortable with larger watches or if you want to use your watch to track metrics while riding. Non issue if you aren't a watch user.

I was pretty excited to when I found these, and I really like high quality gear, so I definitely had my hopes up. I live in Alberta Canada and cycle almost year round. I ride a 10km commute to and from work everyday, and with our varying seasons, I felt I had a good warm weather glove option, and a good winter glove option, but was lacking a shoulder season where temps were about -10 degrees Celsius. These gloves have been awesome. They are just the right insulation for what I was looking for. I love the pull strap and leather palms. Very well built. If they lack anything, it may be a soft nose pad on back of thumb, but that's personal preference. The other thing they could maybe do is build this pair and an even warmer pair for colder weather. But again, they work great and I'm super happy with them.

Bought these for 15-25 degree mountain bike rides, as most of our winter riding requires the trails to be frozen solid, otherwise thaw=mud. My expectations were high for these with OR's experience in the glove market, so I was pretty disappointed to discover their flaws. First, there's an uncomfortable seam right where the web of your thumb rests on the handlebars...maybe this will break in but so far it's terrible. The wrist opening is too small, so people with wide hands will struggle to get them on and off. They are not waterproof (as expected) but also not very breathable, so when the mountain biking gets intense, your hands will be soaked in sweat, causing them to stick to the liner. I'll keep trying them on lower intensity rides, but so far, for a glove advertised for mountain biking, this is no better then any other bulky winter glove from any old cycling brand.

I bought these gloves to use for just for bikepacking, but it turns out they are very versatile. Despite bringing several gloves on the Arrowhead 135 these were the only gloves I ended up using during the race. They’ve also worked excellent for hiking, snowshoeing, and winter camping due to their pre curved fingers and balance of warmth and dexterity. I ordered a second pair for when I eventually wear these out.

These gloves have replaced almost all my mild winter bike related gloves (heck I've even cross country skied with them). Amazing construction, feels great, great tactility and warmth. Mountain Biking, great. Gravel ride, great. Road ride, great. Fat bike, great. XC ski, great. OR killed it with these.

These are far superior to the more traditional two-finger, lobster-style cold weather gloves because you simply have better control for braking on long descents. I bought size LG and feel the fit is as expected.
