Bravo!!

These pants are very well constructed and feel amazing on the trails. These handled everything from long climbs to gnarly descents. They kept me cool, dry, and protected & had ample room for my knee pads. My only complaint is the waistband, which seemed to be a little stuffer then I’d like but overall an exceptional pair of MTB pants! Buy these!!

Close to the platonic ideal of bike pants

Waist shape and construction is breathable and well-suited to a riding position - higher in the back for coverage and to minimize bunching in the front. Quick and effective side waist adjustments so you don’t need a belt. Left pocket has a side entry for when you are on the bike and your thigh is horizontal; right pocket is top entry for when you are standing. Ankle zips allow for putting on pads on the start of a descent, putting on over shoes etc. Tapered fit prevents chain snags but allows room to move. Nylon fabric is soft, durable, decent at blocking wind, and quite breathable.

Solid!

Great for damp mountain riding when temps are 30s-40s. I haven't worn them in a downpour but after 10 rides in light PNW rain they keep pretty dry and are super comfortable. I had to size up but the handy built in waist-tightener has been great. Only complaint is I wish there were regular pockets above the (fantastic/secure) zip pockets, just to tuck hands into when standing around in the chill. I really like the zippered ankle openings. OR always makes solid products. Best mtn bike pants I've owned.

Extremely well made, take abuse, wash out great

I was always skeptical about riding pants, but I decided to give these a try, and I am glad that I did. I wasn't sure about only two pockets, but they are well-placed, and I wouldn't want a back pocket now. The high back is great for riding, and the pants have survived wiping out onto sharp gravel without a scratch (and the blood stain from my leg completely washed out). I like the feel and stretch of these: they fit true to size, and the zippers at the cuffs are perfect—keeping the pants nice and tight so they don't catch on your drivetrain, but they make it easy to get them on/off, even over shoes. I have used them as warmup pants for wet cyclocross races and long mountain biking rides. I am entirely sold on these pants now.

Nice material, good build

Ordered these a month ago and have ridden in them 5 times now - seems like a good quality material that is a nice mix between breathable and water resistant, I'd happily wear these September through May (on Vancouver Island BC). I appreciate being able to unzip from the bottom and put on knee pads without undressing, and the pockets hold a lot of stuff. Sizing at the waist seems slightly large, I ordered a 31 and I've had to pull up the adjustable straps almost as tight as they will go (I'm usually a 31-ish in Levi jeans, and a SM in the 7mesh Glidepath, for reference). Also the waist band seems to go up a bit higher than on other riding pants, I found the top of the pants to be up around my belly button, not a negative just something to note.

Quality material

These are my second pair, different color. The first review still applies: Pants feel comfortable and feel like they will last a long time. Zippered bottom is a must in order to get off because they are tight fitting at the ankle. Zippers high enough to put on knee pads in the parking lot. You won't feel like a weirdo stopping at the store whatever on your way back home because they are quite stylish for mountain bike pants. Fits a Samsung S24+ in either pocket. Order the size your are, ignore the sizing chart...

Great Pants

Finally, pants with legs zips to make your kneepads accessible. Also, the locking button is amazing and secure. Take my money.

The ZIPPERS!

Ever get tired of dealing with the knee pads under pant situation? having to pretty much take off your pants to put on/take/adjust those things? The ankle zippers on these pants have solved that. They are also quite comfortable and functional. Only drawback is the length. I usually buy 30" inseam pants and these are on the longer side (still not a deal breaker for me though). If anyone from OR is reading this offering a couple inseam options might not hurt....

These pants are so next level.

I got these pants because I wanted something that I could wear casually but also had a performance element to it. I MTB a lot but have never purchased pants before. I wore these in the rain and it kept my way more comfortable than I would have expected. The material is lightweight and the pants give you a full range of movement. Most of all, I think they look great. I advise you get a pair if you want riding pants that you can wear around town.

My Favorite MTB Pants

Overall I love these pants. I'm pretty thin, so the side cinches are awesome and keep the pants where they should be. They seem to be true to size overall. The long zips at the bottom of the pants are great for getting them on and off. I only wish they had maybe one more pocket and came in a few more colors. It would maybe be helpful to include a beltloop in a future iteration. Definitely look into these if you're in the market for MTB pants.
