Mountain Hardwear  Chockstone Alpine Pants - Women's

Love these! They are perfect. Fabric is stretchy but doesn't stretch out and bag. Plus it does not seem to snag or tear easily. The fit is great, articulated knees, gusseted crotch, hidden belt and very functional pockets. Little details are great such as the snap at the pocket so you don't lose things when you scramble over a rock. What's not to love! They are good for transitional seasons, fall and spring...probably too warm for summer.

bought these to replace an old pair of Mountain Hardware pants. the old ones have great features including vents at the side of the thigh. I looked at every brand out there to find a new pair with similar features and none of them came close to my old pants. These pants do. no side vents but plenty of other features like zips at the lower leg, hooks and cinches at the cuff. my only complaint is that the snaps for the hip pockets are too grippy. I almost tore the pants opening them.

These pants are phenomenal. I work for a guiding company in Alaska, and these are a crowd favorite among the female guides. The pockets are huge, the crotch gusset is insane, and the adjustable waist is essential. The pants fit well with a harness and dry quickly. They can be a little bit hot to hike in when temperatures are above 70 degrees but moisture wick well and are extremely odor resistant. I can easily get at least four wears out of them between washes.

Excellent pants but did not get my 15% off and after contacting, they said I had to return and rebuy with the code….no time to return as I was leaving for my trip.
