Powerful pocket flashlight

This is powerful excellent usb rechargable flashlight. The low beam is great for small nitetime uses and the hi beam is super bright. Lightweight, it's a pocket regular for me. The only small downside is that the power button blends in with the rest of the metal casing so it's a bit hard to find in a jiffy. but that's a small downside compared to the overall excellence of the unit.

great addition

Bought for my girlfriend as a stocking stuffer for our camping trips. Charged it up before trying to use it. But it wouldn’t turn on, just two flashes and off again. Reading the instructions weren’t exactly crystal clear but it turns out it was just in its locked setting. A couple minutes of messing around with it and we got it figured out. Great power output for the size and is pretty stylish!

Fenix E05R Keychain Flashlight review.

The small ring that connects the flashlight to a keychain is not very durable. Make sure the flashlight switch is in the “locked off” position as opposed to just being off or it could accidentally come on. It fits in pants pockets well and the little sucker puts out a lot of light!

Great flashlight

Great flashlight it does have a tendency to turn on in your pocket. The button is pretty exposed and is easy to turn on unintentionally but other than that it is a great flashlight

This flashlight has very useful settings for beam strength from good power to light a page on a book to lighting up a room. The controls can be awkward though. A quick double click is needed to lock an d unlock it.

Exceed my expectations

I bought this for overnight work when working in remote locations. 4 light modes Low, Med, High, and to activate highbeam hold the powered button. also has a "lock" mode by quickly pressing the power button twice! Which helps prevent turning on by accident. USB charging port is accessible with a twist of the outer body, which seals out dust and water

Bummer

No way this can be 400 lumens and i love fenix so this one bummed me out. My UC02 is half the size and only 130 lumens but kicks harder. sadly discontinued i believe because of the battery it uses. The E05R should also run USB-C chargers as everything is switching up these days. Would not recommend until they update

Goes on by itself too often

I bought this last month for use at night. I liked it’s small size. However, it repeatedly went on by itself when in my pocket and even when in my luggage, due to the location and sensitivity of the on button. Also, getting light vs. flash was difficult. Also, no color options for light.

Love it

Love it. I run early mornings and like to carry a light just in case. The Fenix E05R works great . More power than you would ever expect from a light this small. Holds a charge really well.
