Seriously... This is why we have inflation

This is an ice scoop. It is a piece of metal that is made for scooping ice. I love unnecessary things, but Yeti has crossed the line too far here. The coolers were cool, until everyone else made them just as good for half the price; but an ice scoop for $50? Seriously. We may not be able to control the price of milk and eggs, but come on, dont allow a company to take you for such a fool that you would spend $50 on a piece of metal to scoop frozen water out of a $500 cooler.

Solid Scoop

This ice scoop has definitely been over engineered. The sucker weighs about 5 pounds.

Substantial and worth the price tbh

This is a really good and well made ice scoop. It’s significantly heavier than you might expect, much more so than any other scoop, for the purpose of breaking up ice as well as being durable/feeling nicer and better than other scoops. It’s easy to clean and looks nice as well. The drain holes on the bottom allow for easy drainage of water. The only downside is that it has a very large square design, so anything less than a yeti 40oz+ rim will be a bit too small and ice will inevitably fall outside of your cup. Ice does also stick to it a bit (not much of an issue tho tbh) all in all, it’s a nice design and worth the price.

BEST thing ever

I was not going to order this because it was pricey and I had no idea how useful this was. I was thinking that I could use any tongs with the ice bucket but I see that this is heavy duty to crack the ice and break it up when it fused.. .But so glad I did. I LOVE this. It is heavy weight and high end. It is strong and cracks the ice that melds together when in the ice bucket. I highly recommend!!! It feels great in my hand. Everyone loved it. Many of my friends are going to buy the ice bucket and the scoop after seeing mine this weekend. This is a must! There are holes in the scoop so that melted water can drain out and you can take the ice without the melted water.

It’ll last longer than me…

This is a quality HEAVY scoop that will last and be around longer than I will. Well made and unique. Who ever picks it up says ‘wow this scoop is heavy’. For the price I paid I wish it was made in the USA. The scoop is not an ideal shape for scooping ice into some cocktail glasses. I worry that the weight of this scoop will dent up my over priced Yeti ice bucket however so far so good.

Large & Sturdy

This ice scoop is HUGE! Very well made and heavy. What I didn't like was that there is no grip or coating on the handle. If it sits in an ice bucket the entire thing retains the cold and is freezing to the touch. Also the handle is weirdly short. I thought this was going to be a bit smaller than it was and it just wasn't what I was looking for. I am sure some people will love it though! For me it was returned.

Ice scoop built like a front loader on a tractor

This ice scoop is HEAVY DUTY! I have shovels that are lighter. This item will outlast me no-doubt. Havnt used it to scoop ice yet, but looks great at bar with beverage bucket. The scoop is a conversation piece. Would have been something if there was a hook or way to attach it to beverage bucket, but not a deal breaker.

Nicely constructed

Saw this as part of garage sale items, looked @ price & thought whoa!$$...but I eventually ordered. I've been using a lot of bag ice in cooler to make drinks nicer & I recently tore wrist ligament & ice became my bff. Anyhoo when it arrived I thought it was the coolest & cutest lil thing- very nicely & conviently made

Built like a tank!

I bought this for the deer lease so we could bust up the ice in our coolers for drinks. It is super heavy and built like a tank but is just too small. I wish it was double the size. Otherwise it is a 10/10.
