Hydaway  Collapsible Water Bottle - 25 fl. oz.

Maybe I got a dud? I got this for the airport thinking I could fill it up, throw it in my bag, and go. But sadly, the lid slightly leaks. The description of this bottle says, "with water tight seals to prevent spills". I guess I made the mistake of thinking that this also meant leaks. Granted, it is a slow leak. But it is enough of a leak that it needs to stay upright. Otherwise, you'll then wonder why your sweater got wet while in your bag. Other than the slow leak and having to keep the bottle upright, it is super easy to use and convenient for on the go while not taking up extra space.

I really wanted to like this product. I love the traveler-friendly design but despise the way it ruins the flavor of water. I purchased it, thoroughly cleaned it, took it through TSA empty, filled it from a bottle-filling water fountain at the airport and found it was ok. Ten minutes later, nope, not ok. It tasted of leeched silicone/plastic. I thought perhaps the airport's water filter was bad. I cleaned the again at my destination, filled it with bottled water - again, ok right at first but minutes later, the leached plastic taste reappeared. I will be returning it.

I love this large Hydaway bottle for travel in airports and on the road. The new ring at top helps it hang from my pickleball backpack. So hydration is easier. Great product!

I was interested in this water bottle for two reasons: it folds down to a thin disk for travel, and might be good to use for my recumbent bike rides. It appears to do the trick for both. The fold-down straw is leak-proof when closed, and provides a nice flow when open for use. The screw cap for the bottle doesn't leak either, and the lid also has a flip-up handle or clip. The bottle is very easy to clean and is made of durable silicon (silicone?). I'm happy with the purchase.

Love this water bottle, especially for airport travel where space is tight but hydration is necessary! I would wash before use, but that just makes me grateful that it’s dishwasher safe!

The good- It is silicone and collapses empty to save space. The bad- when the mouthpiece is open it must ONLY be carefully held by the hard center ring or else it collapses, shooting liquid everywhere. Smaller hands may not have a good grasp. The width of the middle ring makes it difficult to fit in many backpack side pockets. The narrow base isn't that stable. If the mouthpiece is open and the bottle is set down, the silicone sides 'may' collapse spouting liquid out. The screw-on lid does not have sufficient threads. When the bottle is full and being held by say, a D ring through the lid loops on a backpack, the lid has a tendency to pop off, throwing the bottle and liquid everywhere. (not a good thing when walking down the aisle of an airplane) I really wanted to like this bottle but couldn't overcome my struggles with its design. Goodwill received the 2 bottles that I bought as donations.

Love it! Convenient, easy to fill and takes up very little space when not in use. Also easy to clean.

I absolutely love this collapsible bottle. I take it on all of my outdoor adventures, its so useful for camping, roadtrips, climbing, you name it.

I bought and used it for a week and a half in July and it was great. Currently at the airport mid October and discovered it has a hole on one of the inner seams.

I love this water bottle! So helpful for travel and keeping weight down. Great in camping box or on a hike!
