Best mirror running
Easy to set up. Easy to adjust while riding. Great visibility while riding. Having tried the $20 competition, this one is way better hands down (and uses metric bolts which your multitool will fit!). Primary thing I love about this mirror is the adjustable ball mount that you can tension with a set screw. You can actually adjust the mirror while riding to fine tune the position after bumping into a doorway or something. Fine tuning a handlebar mirror while actually riding is difficult generally, not with this one. Have used the $20 M brand competition and a B+M mirror from Germany ($60) and this one is the best around. The drop bar version is also quite nice!
Works Good with a Caveat
The mirror works really well for my purpose - position is good, visibility behind is good. However, the set screw backed out from the road vibration so the mirror popped out and was lost somewhere along the ride. Next time, I'm going to Loctite the set screw and attach a tether to the mirror.
Great product, easy installation
It installed quickly and without issues, thanks to the instructions I found on the Spurcycle website. the mirror and assembly are sturdy and simple to adjust. I now have a useful rearview mirror at the end of my handlebar. What a joy when something works as it should!
