I own a pair of the original Zegamas & Nike trail sent me & my wife both a pair of these and we wore them on out trip to dc and the DMV. After walking 10 plus miles around my wife commented that the zegamas are much more comfortable than her Brooks.. So much so that for Father’s Day she bought us another set in all black The toe is a little narrower than the original’s I will say that was what I liked about them originally..but the new design is still extremely comfortable and after 10 miles and out on mile 5 on day 2 they still feel like walking on pillows I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND They run true to size
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for short runs The Nike ZoomX Zegama Trail 2 shoes are comfortable for short distance runs or walks. The Vibram technology on the shoe was tested on various terrains, including a Peloton Tread and a trail run. I found them to be comfortable during my quick 5k runs, but I think going up one size could provide a bit more comfort, especially for those with wider feet. The cushioning around the shoe made my runs feel smooth compared to other shoes I've used. I appreciate the shoe's design, which is both functional and aesthetically pleasing for athletic activities or casual wear. Overall, I will be using these shoes for short runs or when I'm out running errands all day.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike ZoomX Zegama Trail 2 is a great addition to your trail running shoe collection. The ZoomX foam is amazing when it comes to the cushioning and responses well with each step. The traction on these is a monster! Never worry if you will not have enough traction on these because the zoomx zegama trail 2 will give you the perfect traction you need to take on any terrain with ease. The shoe is so lightweight so it is easy for you to run or walk at any speed and will not slow you down! They are snug on top of your feet at first, especially if you have wide feet like me, but I have already worn these a handful of times and they are already broke in enough for the fit to feel comfortable on me.
I got a free pair of these shoes at Western states 100. They were giving them out to all the runners. I like the feel and the traction of the shoe but the quality is very poor. I had less than 50 miles on them and the sole separated from the upper. Maybe I got a bad pair but I also had the same issue with a pair of Nike Wildhorse. The pair of wildhorse probably 100 miles on them. I have sent back the wildhorse to see if I can get a refund on them. The terrain that I run on is mostly flat trails with a few roots so maybe Nike needs to come up with some better glue on their shoes and they should also do a better job of quality control. The bad news is that I just ordered a new pair of Zegama 2 before these blew out. I may return them.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best road and trail runner in quite some time. I’ve had several pairs of Pegasus trails and have a slighter wider foot - I run about 12-15 miles per week combo road and trail, mostly wet paths and mixed terrain. Fit is great, wide toe base - elite level of comfort and stability and traction with the Vibram sole. Of the Pegasus trails I always go back to my Goretex 3’s but these are slowly kicking them out of my rotation - they have improved comfort but with a similar wide sole and toe. Not to mention the black/white colorway goes with everything.
So far, I love these!!! I am a huge fan of the Nike ZoomX Invincible 1 and 2 for road & track running so I have been desperately searching for something similar since 2022. Well, THIS IS IT!!! I am a little heavier so I need that additional max cushioning or else my knees get sore. I have bought then returned the other running shoes that came out this year (ZoomX Invincible 3, Pegasus 41, Vomero 17 and InfinityRN 4) but these Zemama 2's were the best. I don't run trails so I am hoping the soles last longer for me than the ZoomX Invincible 1 and 2's. I am most like going to keep buying more until they don't produce them anymore
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First all of all, these shoes are extremely comfortable. They fit snug in the most comfortable way. A lot of cushioning in all the right places. The lacing system is also incredible. My feet didn’t hurt at all during my uses. Usually the first couple wears my feet will hurt while adapting to the shoes but not with this model. I’d highly recommend this shoe for anyone who runs outdoors or even for those outside workouts in uneven terrain. Definitely a satisfying experience with these shoes.
I bought these about 6 weeks ago and I have about 80 miles in them. I have really liked them on gravel and moderate trails as they have nice cushioning and good protection. I usually hit a steeper more technical trail once a week and I have found the stability to be a bit lacking. I've rolled my ankle several times and I think due to the stack and the narrowness they just don't have the stability I'm used to for more technical terrain. I usually race in speedgoats and was hoping to replace them but I these aren't going to be able to do it. If you run gravel, buffed out trails, and road to trail combos these will probably work great...and they look much better than Hoka's.
Terrible low quality shoe. Is made of a cheap cloth and has an elastic cuff around the ankle area, which allows your foot to slide all the way out fully laced. I cannot use these for running as a result. So angry with all the fake reviews padding this site now on a side note. All received on promotion with "hopes" and ambition that the product probably will work out or is good. I was cheated. On top of that these shoes are genuinely ugly in person I would say.
Everything that made the Zegama 1 great is gone. This new version feels/looks like a Pegasus Trail shoe. The toe box is tighter, the heel cup is more shallow and the traction footprint is more narrow at the forefoot making it less stable laterally. Compare 1 & 2 side to side and the differences are clear. Sad because I was so looking forward to this version. Guess I will be buying up all the version 1's I can because this is a big miss, imo.
