Don't be the one stuck without TP.
These COMPLETELY proved their worth to me on a recent multi-day, partially-supported event ride. One of the support items on this ride was a row of porta-potties at the campsite each night. And as you can imagine, by the time morning rolled aroundl, all of the TP was gone; or so close to gone that you were very lucky to find the few scraps still around. As everyone around me panicked after coffee each morning, I calmly went into any stall I wanted, with a handful of these and my water bottle in my jersey pocket. Yes, it's gross to bring a water bottle into a porta-pottie, but when the option is not being able to wipe up, I'll take it. By exhibiting some vigilance and extra care with my bottle, I was able to activate and use these wipes each morning. (That's why this purchase — I needed to refill haha.) An important detail of note here: these are stronger than TP and stronger than paper towels — they border on the strength of those blue shop towels you see in tradespeople's workshops or car mechanics. In other words, your fingers won't poke through when you're using them. I've always kept a bunch of them in my bikepacking kit, in my EDC, and even some in my general travel supplies — but there has never been a time I've had to use them that has been as impactful as that ride. The value of being prepared for all eventualities is incomparable.
