Mug seems great, but dimensions wildly inaccurate.
I bought this mug as a gift. It was meant to allow a Grayl Geopress to nest inside it. Unfortunately, the listed dimensions are wildly inaccurate. I've listed the correct dimensions below. Otherwise, the mug feels very nice in the hand. I have size XS/S hands, and I think this mug is the max diameter I would want to use without a handle. It feels like it would be enjoyable to drink from. If I were planning to keep it, I would have tested out its double-walled capability to stay cool. Dimensions: Without the lid on, this mug is just under 3 and 4/16 inches in diameter on the exterior and 3 inches in diameter on the interior. It is 3 and 11/16 inches tall. The lid with tab sticking-out is 3 and 9/16 inches at its widest. With the lid on, the mug is just under 3 and 13/16 inches tall.
Nice Cup
Nice cup. Easy to drink hot beverages and it fits inside my 500 ml titanium cooking cup/pot which is why I bought it. No more burning lips having coffee/tea in camp. Base is a bit wide to fit in my car cup holder properly but in the wild it would be hard to knock over. It keeps beverages kind of hot. Not as good as a high end vacuum cup but you save in weight and keeps fluid warmer than single wall. Would have loved to have a smaller size, I like 6 oz coffee in AM. Sippy lid works better than most. Improvements would be slightly smaller girth to fit car cup holder and smaller volume.
Does not really insulate much.
Does not really insulate much. Can feel the heat leaving on the outer wall.
Final addition to my Coffee Go Kit
This cup really delivers for me. It’s my new favorite. I bought this to replace my Miir 12oz camp cup. I also own the Snow Peak version of this, the MSR one reigns supreme. This cup has the same capacity but it’s slimmer so it fits better in hand and vehicle cup holders. The lid is not leak proof, but it’s good to drink from on the move (I hate lids). The feel on the outside of the cup is great. THE MOUTH OF THIS CUP FITS THE AEROPRESS. The aeropress cap and filters fit inside the MSR mug for storage.
Love it
Fantastic. Light. Keeps coffee hot long enough to drink casually. Doesn’t burn my hand but does warm it. Good balance. Lid isn’t water tight but you have to work to spill and it does it’s real job which is keeping drinks hot.
