Excellent, super lightweight, very good (not quite excellent) ground feel, incredibly flexible athletic shoe. I purchased these at the same time as the Xero HFS II and wound up keeping both. I use that shoe for road running but the Speed Force II, though I run in it occasionally has become my go-to gym/workout shoe, and occasionally "tasks-around-the-house" shoe. It reminds me of a cross between two prior favorites of mine: Vivobarefoot Primus Lite II and Merrell Trail Glove 2 (the version 2 specically as later models were very different/worse) ... It really does feel like something right in the middle of those two shoes and I love. Ground feel is very very good as mentioned and it's probably the lightest shoe (of many minimalist pairs) that I own. I tried Xero some 6 or 7 years ago and didn't have a great experience but this year I tried again and now have 3 pairs (SpeedForceII, HFS II and Prio) and the construction is much better than years past IMO. Happy with these, very much so. I've jumped a lot of rope in this shoe and other various workouts/mobility work etc. Very stable. Very planted.
These may be the best all around minimal athletic shoe i have ever had. I have run on road, track, and lots on turf, and done lots of agility work in them, and they are wonderful. Best thing i can say, is there is nothing weird or needing improvement (ok, looks are meh). They are so comfortable if find myself wanting to wear them everywhere, but i just bought Dillons for that.
I love these shoes. I didn't buy them here, but elsewhere, but nevertheless, they are great! I use them for running and the gym. All round great barefoot shoe
