Smartwool  Hike Full Cushion Saturnsphere Crew Socks - Women's

I've bought multiple pairs of the Women's Hike Full Cushion Saturnsphere Crew Socks (I'd stopped buying other brands/socks as it was ideal). Old ones i. e. 'Twilight Blue' were my favorite sock ever. The 'Frosty Green' currently offered is noticeably shorter (by approx 1 inch, see attached picture) than the old version of this sock, and feels to me to have a tighter cuff. The material also feels slightly different (thinner/slipperier). If the sock is different I feel it should be given a different name. Really disappointed that it's not the same sock and not of the same quality as it was before.

The Women's Hike sock is very comfortable and washes well. I tend to hang dry my socks to prevent shrinking. I like that they fit well after washing and stay up, not slouching. I did dry a pair on low in a dryer and they shrunk. I am in Alaska and wear wool socks nearly year-round. I have been wearing Smartwool socks for over 20 years and have seen many styles come and go. It used to be hard to wear out a pair of Smartwool socks. These socks do show signs of wear, in the back of the heel and will not last for years to come like the original Smartwool socks. The women's socks tend to wear out faster than the men's socks for some reason. Compared to other brands of wool socks available today, I find these of the best, providing good warmth and comfort. Love the color choices!

I bought more than 2 dozen Smartwool socks this year. I gave them as gifts to my 3 grandsons, my 1 granddaughter and my daughter-in-law. Sizes ranged. . . . . mens XL, womens S, mens M and boys L. The grandchildren wear these everyday and loved their new socks. I also wear Smartwool socks. I love the selections and they are the only socks I buy anymore. Last year I gave my son 1/2 dozen socks for his birthday so he really didn't need new ones this year.

I work at an industrial site and I have big feet for my frame I'm only 5'6 and I wear about a 9 size. It's really hard for me to find socks that can fit my long toes. These socks are perfect. A little pricy that's my only issue. I'm on my feet almost up to 10 hours a day. I haven't had any issues with my feet at all while wearing these socks. I strongly believe these socks help prevent any kind of aches or foot issues.

These are the most comfortable socks I've ever worn and excellent design, socks stay in place with hiking and walking, I actually got size M even though I'm small, so I can wash and dry normally and it won't be too tight which worked out fantastic. I love this product and would get again and will recommend to others. Great padding for extra comfort

I bought 2 pairs for an upcoming hiking trip to Yellowstone. Trying them out locally, I find them to be a perfect fit which stays perfectly in place in my hiking boots. The colors are pleasing and interesting. The only negative I've found so far is that they take awhile to dry when washed out by hand, even in our arid Arizona climate.

These socks are fantastic. I ordered the frosty green and they're so pretty! They're soft and warm, cozy for wearing at home but also warm and durable enough to go out in winter time. I love the full cushion design. I was skeptical that they'd be itchy, but they're so comfortable. I would get these again in a heartbeat!

I love Smartwool socks. I have several pair. I wear them all the time-hiking, around the house, anywhere. The are super soft and comfy, but they are great for hiking. They keep my feet dry and blister free. I have bunions and these socks really work great for me.

Camino-bound! Nothing better than Smartwool on long, daily hikes for me. My socks wore so well on our previous Camino (when I shared my last pair with a fellow pilgrim whose poor feet were rife with blisters) that I'll only wear Smartwool from now on.

I put these wool socks on and they are so soft and cozy around my feet. Starting off on a hike with happy feet is a plus. I just walked from Assisi to Rome using Smart Wool socks and not one blister! I now use them even for my everyday walks.
