- System weighs just 5.7 oz. (161 g) to keep things ultralight with the added versatility of higher water capacity
- Reservoir is made with proprietary tri-layer film that's durable, packable and free of plastic taste
- Wide-mouth opening and fill-handle keep your hands dry while you quickly and easily fill up
- Fast-flowing filter uses hollow fibers that filter up to 3 liters per minute with normal squeeze pressure and 1.75 liters per minute in a gravity setup
- Inner/outer (I/O) dual threads, the ConnectCap and short hose let you dial in your custom leak-free system using the clean and dirty vessels you prefer
- The dirty-side I/O threads attach to the reservoir as well as standard narrow-mouth bottles and other Platy bottles
- On the clean side, select between the DrinkCap for drinking and pouring or the ConnectCap that screws onto narrow-mouth bottles and has a hose attachment point

The opening of the platypus is very limited when it come to filling with water. There is no way to hang up the bladder. I will be returning it
