After testing nearly all available backpacking water filter systems and brands in the current market, I'm happily landed and sticking with Platypus. Easily connects to my Gregory 3D Hydro backpack bladder (with quick connector smartly located at top of bladder instead of bottom) for when I desperately need a full tank in my backpack for long dry stretches. Easily interchangeable between bladder and "smart" water bottles only having to deal with one type of filter. Easy enough backwashing cleaning procedure makes this filter system uncomplicated.

The opening of the platypus is very limited when it come to filling with water. There is no way to hang up the bladder. I will be returning it
