Decent rain cover!

Overall a decent rain cover. I’m not sure it’s worth paying a little more for this one over the rei brand though. Cover is huge, and easily covered my full 70L pack. Also quite water proof. This one packs up flatter and maybe a bit lighter than the rei equivalent, but that’s really it.

Great product! Took this with me to the Grand Teton National Park for a backpacking trip and the one day we got rained on it kept my pack entirely dry. I use the Paragon 60L from Gregory as my pack and it fit very well around the entire bag, and I keep my tent clipped underneath my bag which the raincover also kept protected no issue. Packs down very easy for storage as well. Honestly would have prefered the black to begin with but after ordering I am so glad I got the Rain Forest color, it looks so good in person and on my dark green pack.

Great Rain Cover - Could Use an Attachments System Though

I bought this raincover to go over my 70L pack. The trip I tested it on was a four-night, five-day in and out trip to Little Yosemite Valley. We didn't get much rain so it's only use during the trip was going up the "mist" trail and Nevada Falls. The waterfalls were running more than they have in several years so the mist was more like a horizontal rain! The cover packs into itself and is easy use. Everything under the cover was dry and it performed like I expected. The only reason for not giving a 10/10 is that there is no built in attachment system on the cover to fix it to the pack. It has an elastic edge that fits around well but the security of having something around the pack would bring a nice peace of mind. Not hard to modify though. Overall, great raincover!

This is supposed to fit a 50L and a 80L?

I got this rain cover for a 75L Gregory pack. It is too small. It really would only work if you don't have your pack all the way full or anything strapped to the bottom or outside of the pack (tent/sleeping pad). I'm not sure why they would advertise this as 50L to 80L. That's a pretty big difference in size and any cover that fits a 50L pack well would not fit an 80L pack and vice versa. I also wished the top of the rain fly was shaped a little better to cover the top of the pack (section right behind your head).

Thanks for leaving your review for our 50-80 L Raincover. Carrying gear on the outside of your pack certainly changes the shape of your bag and can cause some fit issues. Your feedback about the Raincover shape is noted and we will make sure the product development team receives the suggestion.

way too large for 60l pack

Bought this for my Gossamer Gear Mariposa, and it is huge. Will return.

Too large

Purchased this for my Baltoro 65L. Cover was a bit large with a full pack, mostly at the base. Would give 4 stars, but water collected at the bottom and seeped into the pack. Wish there were options for different sizes (40-50, 50-60, etc.). Gregory makes packs with raincovers, so I’m not sure why there are only two options available..

Works Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this on a trip in Utah where we got rain overnight. My backpack was perfectly dry the next day. I also love how the carrying case is integrated with cover for easy storage. #giftedproduct

Baltoro Rain Cover

A fun, functional rain cover. Fits my Gregory Baltoro 65 very well. Kept my pack dry during a hard rain this weekend. Makes hiking in the rain fun....not really.... but my clothes were dry.

Great pack!

Gregory products are so well built, the fit offers great adjustments, and they are super durable! I still have a Gregory daypack from 35+ years ago, that sees weekly use!

Terrific.

Just used it on a long wet backpacking trip. This, along with the water proof liner, kept everything bone dry.
