Happy that I did buy this balm because on one hand, it works 50% of the time which is still better than nothing. It is a bit greasy and so when around ankles and you are walking in grassy areas, dirt and bugs can potentially stick to those applied areas. So, you can imagine how effective that then becomes. Sweating doesn’t help either. Must reapply! This balm however is much more natural and I feel safe using it on my child as compared with the effective chemicals REI also sells in the reddish orange packaging (although those work hands down). Will be back to buy more once my container runs out.
