Poor Quality Map
The quality is quite disappointing. I won't bee keeping these. They are not waterproof and will not hold up long. The content is nice, but it defeats the purpose of a durable map.
Wasteful Packaging
The map of trails in the White Mountains looks great but I was very disappointed in the package used to send it to me. The map would fit in a regular business envelope but it was sent in a cardboard box which measured 11" x 6" x 7.5" and was wrapped in an 8' strip of brown paper. I will recycle the box and paper but it was unnecessary to send the map in anything other than an envelope.
30th Edition Tyvek > 31st Edition Amateur Hour
If you're reading this and are in the market for paper AMC maps of the Whites, do not purchase these. Instead, try to find older 30th Edition maps elsewhere online which are superior in every way, especially in the material they're made from. AMC really dropped the ball on the 31st edition.
