Waterproof? No. Water resistant, maybe.
These socks are not waterproof as advertised. "Water resistant" is perhaps more accurate. My feet were wet after cycling in the rain for only an hour or so. Also, the socks are extremely difficult to get off (my feet aren't too large for the socks). I really wanted to like these, hoping they would keep my feet dry but I am returning them. I can't recommend these socks.
Impossibly tight
Completely impossible to wear. I am not overweight, my calves are normal size, but the calves of these socks are so incredibly tight they cause actual pain when I wear them and I worry about causing a DVT. Threw them away.
