Excellent jacket, with bountyful long sleeves for my 5;8" body. I have this jacket in the dark green and its my go to jacket for walks when it might rain. The jacket to ward off rain droplets. I have worn it XC skiing with a thin top underneath. I wanted a different color and bought this one but unfortunately the color did not work for me and returned it. But the jacket is Bang On for sizing. I am an XL and fits nicely around my stomach and hips. Washes really well also. Kari Traa sometimes runs long in the body but this Jacket for my body height and top is acurate.
This is the second Kari Traa jacket of this type I've purchased, and I love them. The first is now several seasons old and I have worn it everywhere. For Nordic (XC) skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, and just out walking in cooler weather, it's the perfect jacket. It's warm, comfortable, stretchy, and excellent on windy days. I go one size up because I like to wear layers, especially for winter sports, but the jacket is true-to-size, and fitted if you buy your true size. My first jacket shows no signs of wear, and when I saw this new color on sale, I jumped at the chance to own another of my favorite jacket.
I have honestly been looking for a winter running jacket for SO long. And I got this to try and I LOVE it. I run in Utah winter and it’s been perfect with one base layer under.
