This is one of the best kitchen sets I've used! I love that it's so versatile, can be used for a lot of different things, like making pasta, or simmering! The strainer & the pot are both collapsible! Which adds to why I love this kitchen essentials set! It's great for taking on camping trips, as it's safe for gas, and electric stove tops. I also love the cutting boards because they're lightweight and easy to use & even easier to CLEAN! This set is everything you need to enjoy the taste of home cooking when on the go & enjoying nature!

I was happy with this until the plastic part of the collapsible pot melted after using it on my camp stove… I have loved all my other Sea to Summit products, but this was a big fail for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the most wonderful invention for backpacking! This Cook Set Multi - is everything I need for a great vacation. Now is just the time to go camping. I have a set for one person, everything is high-quality and compact. does not take up much space and is very light. A big plus is that the pot's handle folds up. One more important thing that the bowl / cup be held comfortably when contents are hot because the Cool Grip surface allows you to hold the tableware securely while providing insulation from hot contents.. I can't recommend this enough! Buy one now. You won't regret it.

This is the best to happen to me yet. Collapsible? With a secure lid? A cutting board? A colander? Hello !! Super excited to try this out.

As another user stated, my pot melted after 2 uses on my Camp Chef stove. This also happened with the smaller size pot. The scary part is I didn’t notice until I was about to pour the boiling water into my kids hot chocolate mugs. Could have been a quick way for a big burn..

I have many other Sea to Summit camp cooking items that I love, but sadly, this pot is not it. I was very excited to find a 5L collapsible pot for my teardrop camper. We are doing more and more camping now that may husband is retired. I have consequently been working to develop a well equipped galley kitchen for our small rig as we travel. With small, comfortable and removable handles that can also be used for locking the lid while in transit, as well as a nice large size for when I am cooking for the whole family if they join us, this looked like the perfect item. Alas, it ripped through the side fold after the 3rd use. The failure could well be due to user error; I guess my heat level was too high for the pot. But be aware that you will really need to watch what--and how--you are cooking. As long as you have liquid inside that goes well above the lower folding levels, you should be fine. Once the liquid drops within about 1 inch of the metal, all bets are off. For me, I think that lightly sautéing a mirepoix before building a soup was the death knell. As I was washing up the pot after the meal, the folding seam unzipped before my eyes. I burst through the side wall while using a small cellulose sponge and my fingers... not a brush or a scrubby sponge. It is a frail, delicate baby of a pot. Sadly, I think the 5L pot is only good for boiling water, warming up premade soup or for cooking a mess-load of pasta. The rest of the set up works fine and we have had no problems with the cutting pads or the collapsible colander. Just be aware that round cutting boards make it a pain to transfer cut items into a bowl or pan. I am still looking for a large pasta/soup pot for cooking for a larger group--that also can be tucked away in a small space. I have my fingers crossed that Sea to Summit can do some redesign upgrades to make this more durable as I love the brand and also think the *idea* behind this is great. Collapsible? Yes. Large size? Awesome. Smart design on the handles? 100%. Durability? ::::sigh::::
