Perfect for little hands

These little sporks are great for tiny hands! They wash up well in the dishwasher, were just the right size for my 5 & 2.5 year olds, are light but sturdy, and come in fun colors! Unlike other spoons for little kids, these were easy to grab and the spoon portion was deep enough for them to get a decent spoonful of yogurt at soccer practice and later some soup on the go. The best part of these is that since they are metal with a matte coating, oils don’t stick to them the way they do to plastic cutlery. We will certainly add these to the camping bin this summer! In the meantime, they will be a soccer practice staple.

Great for Kids!

The size of these are great for little ones and sturdy enough for everyday use, camping, hiking and other outdoor adventures. The spoon and fork hold a good amount of food and fit in kids mouth without spillage. Easy to wash in the dishwasher. Overall design is solid and doesn’t appear to have any weak points compared to some other designs I have seen. Would highly recommend this product if you have little ones and are out and about often for meals.

Everything a kid could ever want

My kids absolute loved these sporks. They had a fantastic time using them and loved the fun colors that they came in (dark grey, blue, and green). They are everything a kid could ever need. We often times find ourselves washing them every night due to the fact that we only have three so that they can use them the next day. The fact that they are plant based gives us the peace of mind to know that our kids aren't being exposed to harmful plastics with ever meal. Additionally, they're super convenient for everything from the urban oasis to the farest reaches of your camper.

Light, strong, well designed but small

For such a simple item there is evidence that care was put into the design and construction of these humangear brand sporks. First, they are surprisingly strong for their light overall weight. Second, and what stood out to me most was how comfortable they fit in my hand. I can tell a lot of thought went into the design once you hold them. My primary criticism is that they're not long enough to eat from a dehydrated meal bag comfortably. For car camping or eating out of a shallower bowl these would be great though. They're tough enough for adults and the right size for kids. If you appreciate details look closely at the fork end you'll notice it's tapered in a way that allows the fork to cut through food and the tines are deep enough to actually be helpful. The spoon end is shallow but large enough to be effective. I assume these were injection molded but I can't find any seams that might cut or scratch. Overall they're not for me based on how I backpack and eat on trail. They just don't fit my use case. However I am impressed with the quality and design and would consider them for car camping or as a backup in my pack.

Excellent utensil with a couple of small flaws

My kids enjoyed using these utensils. They enjoyed them so much car camping that they've been insisting on using them at home too. It is as advertised - spoon on one side, fork on the other. The sporks feel good in your hand - nicely balanced and the material has enough texture to be grippy, even when a bit messy. My kids enjoyed the novelty of a new utensil in bold colors and were amused by the fork/spoon combo. There are only two small issues with the spork - it would be nicer if the middle section were longer. My kids hands were getting a bit messy trying out both sides in the same meal - the kids didn't seem to mind though. The other is that the spoon part is a bit shallow - works fine for pasta and more 'solid' type foods. However, I could definitely see it being annoying when trying to eat soup or something with a more liquid consistency.

Great compact utensils

These work great and pack up very compact. They were used for all meals and handled cereal as well as they did chili. Hot food didn’t seem to bother them at all. The colors are appealing to the kids and encouraged them to pick a utensil and use it at every meal helping reduce waste. Would recommend for families or individuals.

Kids love these!

I received these products for free from the REI Trailblazers sampling program in exchange for my honest review. My kids (ages 2 & 4) love these sporks! When I got them, I thought we'd mainly use them for picnics, camping, etc., but my kids have been insisting they use these every day. I asked my 4 y/o what he likes about them, and he said he likes the colors and thinks that they are both fork and spoon is really cool. I thought the newness would wear off, but we've been going a month strong with them using these sporks every day and not wanting to use anything else. They wash easy and don't hold onto grease like some plastic cutlery does, and are very durable.

Durable Multi-use Spork

Bio Uno Spork has been extremely durable for multiple uses in my family. It is easy to grip for my youngest, age 2, and in fun colors for my two older kids ages 4 and 6 for their school lunches . Machine washable. We have also used it for hiking trips, picnics, and day outings where we easily rinsed them off for use later. They are perfect for our sustainability conscious family! Overall, durable, washable, and family friendly!

Great everywhere, not just the outdoors.

Great for more than just the outdoors! Durable, easy to grip, great for kids of all ages. We pack them in school lunch every day for our special needs child and they always make it home. Tempted to get a whole bunch to donate to her class sometime!
