The GoBite Bio Trio will exceed your expectations

I was very surprised how much I really enjoyed this product. All of the features worked well. Once I started using it I kept finding more uses for it. I didn’t expect the knife to work on meat but it did! I didn’t think the spoon would be adequate, but it was great. I don’t think it would be the best for soup because the depth isn’t very deep, but it worked great for oatmeal and cereal. The spork worked better than I anticipated with meat, vegetables, pasta, and breakfast foods. The only thing that didn’t perform as well was the bottle opener. It took several attempts to open a bottle. A thicker metal insert would probably work better. As a result of using this on our camping trip this trio is now something I carry all the time. This will also be my go to for any smaller gift for my outdoor family and friends.

Never thought I'd be so impressed by cutlery

I didn't realize so many features could be packed into a fork / spoon / knife! I haven't had them for long, but they seem really durable The fork does a great job at grabbing food and the knife slices right through all my veggies. The spoon is not super deep, but should be enough for soup and bowls. The whole set packages neatly into a clip holder - I don't see this as super useful other than keeping the set together, but it's not bad...and all this made out of bio friendly materials!

Quality Utensil Set

I received these products for free from the REI Trailblazers sampling program in exchange for my honest review. Useful and well made utensil set. Spoon is large enough for many tasks, knife is sharp enough to cut through meat and bottle opener is a great added feature, and the fork is quite sturdy (beware the tines are sharp). A case is needed to protect other items (and yourself) from the sharp fork prongs. I found it useful to rearrange the assembly to provide more protection.

Sturdy outdoor utensils with convenient hook

A string set of outdoor/travel utensils. I love that the travel clip holder that is supplied with the trio also has a bottle opener! I used this trip for am outdoor picnic. They are sturdy and hold a good amount of food, and the knife was strong enough to cut a hard avocado!

Great utensil set with a few minor issues

I had the opportunity to test these utensils on a campout for multiple meals and was impressed with their solid design and functionality. The knife effortlessly cut through steak and potatoes during car camping, while the fork performed as expected. While backpacking, I mainly used the spoon and found it effective, although I prefer a longer one for such meals. The utensils are easy to clean due to their high-quality material. A great feature is their ability to combine and conveniently hang for drying with the holder clip. The clip also makes them easy to store in my pack. They strike a balance between feeling substantial like real utensils yet being lightweight and compact for backpacking. Despite a few minor issues like precise placement in the clip and the inclusion of a can opener, these utensils have become my go-to choice for camping. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed using them and will continue to rely on them frequently.

Great! Just wish it had a sleeve.

Light weight, sturdy, easy to grip and easy to clean. I didn’t get to test on something like a meat but the knife cut through hard cheese just fine. We had to forgo camping overnight for an Airbnb this time. But these utensils nourished our girl group of hikers for two days. If I were to perfect the product, I’d add a mesh or solid sleeve with a hook instead of the plastic hook. I could see the utensil group getting separated from the plastic hook in a backpack or gear box.

Upgrade Your On The Go Eating Utensils

I’ve been using a 3 in 1 spork or the longest time, for all of my trail meals. It serves its purpose but obviously there are some trade offs with this type of utensil. Spoon and fork use is ok, but as a knife it’s pretty useless. That’s what makes this set from Humangear really nice. I don’t think from a size/weight standpoint it makes much of a difference going with a set like this and it’s basically a full size set, and I’ve been missing a real knife during my trips, for spreading things like peanut butter. This utensil set really fits the bill. The included clip and bottle opener are nice touches/extras, though not sure the opener will be used in the backcountry…around town or car camping, definitely. I was able to try this set on a recent trip and it was a real nice to have an, almost full size, silver wear set. The included clip really helps keep the set together while in your food bag/pack. Thinking in between trips, this set will be in my lunch bag.

This is a dandy little set.

While I generally use a spork only for backpacking trips and a k/f/s set for car camping, this set will go in my backpacking gear. Starting with the clip, it's both sturdy enough that I don't worry it will break but flexible enough that I can release the utensils from it even with cold fingers that aren't so flexible. And it can attach to a carabiner or a loop so I don't lose it while I'm using the utensils. I was surprised at how well the knife works for a variety of foods. It did well with an apple. It showed the serration a bit at the edges and didn't cut completely straight, but who cares. The bowl of the spoon worked well for soup, cereal, and yogurt, so I call that success. The fork speared everything I tried to eat with it, and the tines are long enough to hold onto the food from plate to mouth. I also found the length of each utensil worked well for me. And who doesn't need a bottle opener every now and then, which is located on the handle of the knife? All in all, this set is a complete success and will accompany me on all backpacking and car camping trips.

Rugged durable set but has some minor drawbacks

First, the good: This is a high quality utensil set designed for rugged outdoor use. Virtually unbreakable. If weight is not a concern, this is a decent substitute for more expensive titanium utensils. It’s nice to have a spoon, fork & serrated knife. The less good: The bottle opener works but not well. Not really a concern of mine since I’m an ultralight backpacker who almost never carries a glass bottle. The carabiner is oddly square shaped which makes it a little wonky to clip on, especially with cold fingers. I will likely not carry this set on backpacking trips where weight is a concern (I’ll carry a titanium spoon). However, I will pack this set for kayaking and canoeing trips. Right now I’m using the set whenever I pack lunch for work ... and for this they’re great!
