Allbirds fit true to size for most customers. If you have wide feet or prefer a roomier fit to accommodate toe splay, we suggest sizing up. If you are in between sizes we recommend sizing up for all styles except for Tree Runner styles (size down for those).

Great comfortable sneaker
These shoes were super comfy right out of the box. I prefer to wear sneakers without socks and I had zero rubbing or hot spots. I could wear them all day, everyday! Normally, I wear a 9.5 or 10, depending on the brand, but this was my first pair of Allbirds, so I went with a 10 to be safe. They are slightly big without socks and they fit perfectly with socks, so true to size in my opinion! The shoes are lightweight and look good with all sorts of outfits. I tend to wear athleisure on the weekends and these shoes were the perfect choice. I can dress casual on Fridays at work and have worn these shoes, too. I will definitely buy Allbirds in the future as I can’t get over how comfortable these are!
Light, comfortable and warm
I was absolutely blown away by this shoe. I am big into running, in particular long-distance and have not thought of All Birds as a go to shoe. I've tried all the usual brands that runner friends have recommended, but because I have high arches, it's always a bit of a challenge. I took these shoes out for my first run of 2024 and it was a very brisk 25 degrees F outside. The shoes were so light, that I felt fresh for the full 6 mile run. The arch support on the shoes is really spectacular so my feet were not achey after running or the next day. I paired them with my Balega socks (which I love to run with). The shoe tongue and back of the heel were soft and snugly and comfortably hugged my feet without any sort of discomfort from pushing into my skin too tight at risk of a blister. I also struggle with blood circulation so in the winter, my feet easily get cold and go numb. I was blown away that my feet stayed comfortably warm the entire run without sweating. I'm not sure how AllBirds did it but my feet were the perfect temperature which was a first for me! Highly recommend!
Super lightweight and so comfortable!
I love these shoes! "SuperLight" is exactly what comes to mind when wearing them since they are so light and airy. Sturdy sole that keeps your feet in place. No slipping so far and I've worn them in a variety of wet conditions: gravel, pavement, woodchips, and indoor floors. They have washed well in the washing machine and dried quickly when hung to dry, even indoors during the winter when our house isn't quite so warm. These have been worn on many long walks and never even a hint of blister. For a comparison, I have the original Allbirds too. The difference with these is quite staggering. Those took quite a bit to stretch to fit my feet (and I got them both in the same size) but these fit right out of the box. Those are heavier and thicker. Both great shoes but for different purposes. While I have been wearing these in (a very mild) winter and have had no issues, you definitely can feel the air coming through so if you live somewhere really cold you might want to wait until spring or summer. I love not having hot and sweaty feet so I really love these shoes! LOVE: - Lightweight - Good structure and sturdy - Comfortable right out of the box - Easy to wash (can just throw them in the washing machine on delicate) - Keeps your feet cool
Light and comfy
I was a little hesitant at first with these because of the pad at the heel and how thin the ankle-surrounding material was which normally means blisters for me, but I was pleasantly surprised! They are a bit too big for me so I wear them with socks and they really work great. Super light. It’s December in Colorado but I’ve been able to wear them while walking the dogs and being out and about and they work well.
Comfortable and Supportive Out and About Shoe
Recently, I had the chance to try out a pair of Allbirds shoes, and I wanted to share my thoughts on what makes them stand out in terms of comfort and support. Comfort (5/5): The Allbrids Tree Runners are so comfort. These shoes are incredibly lightweight and feel like a cozy embrace for your feet. It's the kind of comfort that makes you forget you're wearing shoes at all. Arch Support (5/5): If you're someone who values good arch support, Allbirds has got you covered. The shoes provide just the right amount of lift, ensuring your feet are well-supported without being overly rigid. Perfect for those long days on your feet. I do not have high arches, so for those with high arches this may not be as helpful. Breathability (4.5/5): Nice balance between breathability and warmth. The natural materials used in the shoes keep your feet cool on warmer days and retain heat when it's cooler outside. It is rather cool here and my feet did not feel the coolness of the weather but also didn't get sweaty like some shoes can. These shoes are versatile enough to handle different weather conditions which is definitely a plus so you can sport them year round no matter the weather. I did not wear them in the rain so I can not provide assistance on performance in wet weather. Versatility (3/5): While Allbirds performs admirably in various casual settings, it falls short in terms of athletic versatility. The shoes lack the necessary support for more strenuous activities and that if fine. They are better suited for everyday wear and light activities rather than intense workouts. Conclusion: Allbirds has managed to create shoes that prioritize comfort without sacrificing style or functionality for everyday tasks. If you're looking for a reliable pair that feels great on your feet and while handling daily life, Allbirds is worth considering.
Cute shoes for quick outing, not daylong comfort
Pros: super cute and fashionable shoes. Lightweight. They are true to size. Cons: the shoes have virtually no footbed support. They’re fine if you’re wearing them an hour or two. But if you’re wearing them for a few hours, you start to feel the lack of support. They also rub at the back of the ankles. The tongue of the shoe feels flimsy and takes some pulling before you can get your foot into the shoe. Overall feedback: the shoes are great for a quick trip out. But they’re not made for daylong comfort.
The Shoe I Didn’t Know I Needed
I only ever buy shoes with specific functions: hiking shoes for hiking, running shoes for running, winter boots for walking in the snow, etc. These shoes are shoes for simply existing. I’m an artist and spent a week wearing them while working in my studio space, when normally I would wear slippers, or more likely, no shoes at all. Shoes are important, my friends. They set the foundation for how our bodies exist in the world. My grandmother preached the importance of having a good pair of indoor shoes, and I never understood until now. These sneakers are like a nice hug for the feet. They are breathable, supportive, lightweight, crisp, and clean. The thing about working for long hours indoors is we can settle too much into lounging like a couch potato and then feeling like sloths. I want to be able to move about the room and prance through the halls with a spring in my step. Slippers are for lounging and dragging our feet, not for working with springs in our steps. These shoes are not slippers. They are comfy sneakers that make you feel like a rockstar in your every day life. I live in northern Michigan, but I wanted to see how they felt outside. In January. Because I didn’t want to take them off. Bad Jess. These shoes will be fantastic in the summer time, or if I ever visit California. For now, they are my magical indoor power shoes to help encourage my productivity and to make me feel mighty.
Comfortable, supportive shoes
These shoes are comfortable and cushioned while maintaining good structure and support for walking. I have had extensive issues with plantar fasciitis and therefore always need shoes that provide adequate support. Many walking shoes are overly "soft" and unable to support the arch of your foot, however I have not had that issue with these. The shoe breathes well and conforms comfortably to the foot with each step.
Fit and ease of wear are not as expected
I love the Allbirds brand and my husband has multiple Allbirds and swears by them. So I tried the Super light tree runners, and this is my honest experience. I love the look and that I can wear them with anything. They are also light and easy to travel with. However, they are not easy to slip on and off and the tongue is so flimsy that it’s even more challenging than a regular shoe. On one hand, I felt like the shoes were slightly larger from a length standpoint, but the top arch of my foot and width felt a little too snug and began to hurt after wearing it throughout the day for walking around while out of country.

These shoes are awesome for everyday wear and travel. They weight virtually nothing and pack so well! Love these and my wool runners- my GO TO footwear every day!
