Falling apart after a few runs

I have been buying triumphs running shoes for years. I go through about 2 to 3 pairs a year. I retire the old ones as my walking shoes and only wear the new ones as my running shoes. The soles on these are falling apart and it hasn’t even been two months of where. I agree with the other review that said they’re back, the cushioning is great. I don’t normally do reviews but wanted to share as I feel the product is flawed. See the pics. Pick up the 19s until they come out with a better model.

NOT made well :(

I originally tried these on in store and LOVED how comfy they were. Bought them online and my views have completely changed in a month. They are definitely comfortable and very light, but the whole outer sole is made of uncoated styrofoam, and I’ve had take-out containers that are stronger. I’m a nurse so I’m constantly on my feet/moving and I have chunks coming out of the heels already! The weak material makes it impossible to clean/scrub without damage to the shoe. In addition, the rubber soles that are BARELY glued onto the styrofoam are already peeling off, too. BAD material choice, poor construction. I rarely do reviews, and this pains me because I really did want to love them! Debated between 1 and 2 stars, giving it 2 because they truly are comfy. For the price, definitely steer clear. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

All the best things the Triumph offers

Love this version of the Triumph! Ironically I wasn't wild about running in the Triumph 19. It's great for a work shoe at the hospital as it's comfortable for extended standing/walking but I didn't get that same "Triumph" feel when I ran in them. To me the Triumph is all about cushiony comfort and a nice high drop that I use to alleviate chronically tight calves/Achilles. The 20 hits all those marks! It was so immediately comfortable I didn't even need to change out the insoles (which I usually do). I ran a 14 miler in them this past weekend and little to no foot pain which is a rare thing for me. I'm already planning to scoop up another color!

Not so good

These are so different from the 19's. They hurt my legs when running. I ordered an all black pair for work and in one week the black on the side of sole peeled off where the foam is. I am so disappointed in the quality of Saucony over the years. They were my go to shoe in the 80's but the quality has just continued to decline over the years. Every pair I buy I end up blowing out the toe even though I sized up. Sorry but I'm back to buying Brooks running shoes. Same price and better quality.

Triumph 20 my new fave shoe

I absolutely love this shoe. I really liked the Triumph 19 for the roomy toe box and everyday cushy ride but this shoe is now more fitted and more performance rated in my opinion. I just want to say I bought the maroon and the fit is insanely fitted and comfortable but I then added the vizipro and it is way roomier in the toe box so I am returning for another regular color way. Those of you who miss the roominess of the previous version should try the vizipro. Not sure why but it definitely was roomier and laces were even longer. But this shoe is a hit in my book keep making new colors and I will keep buying.

Runs narrow but great shoe if it fits you well

Cushioned yet you can pick up the pace in these shoes. The foam feels springy and softer underfoot than the endorphin speed 3 which has nylon plate. I bought these hoping to use them as my long run shoe for this marathon training block but find them narrower in the toe box than the speed 3 and the upper feels tighter overall, giving me cramps in my feet. They also give me a hot spot at the base of my big toe. Disappointed in the fit for me. Will stick to speed 3 for long runs for now. They are also Not as cushioned as some other max cushion shoes. Will keep them for shorter easy runs and walking around.

Cushiony!

I have been a faithful Triumph wearing walker since before the first Isofits. I LOVE the cushion in the 20's. However, the perfect shoe, is just a bit off this time. I ordered my usual 9.5, (I wear 9 in my other non-Saucony shoes) and the toebox is shorter in height. The length is fine. My big toenail rubs a little in my right shoe. No bueno at the end of a work day. I go back to the 19's the next day with no problem. The styling of the shoe is great. I can always use more colors like the other styles have, though! I do feel like it's a warmer shoe/ not as vented, as my feet are damp at the end of the day. Overall good shoe added to my Triumph collection, just not perfect this time.

Best shoes ever.

I bought this last year in August 2022.love this shoes, problem solved from heal pain, arch ache and back pain. I wear it everyday for more than 16 hours and gives the same cushion and comfy whole time. Nice drip and worth every penny.Didn't worn out even after 9 months still in very very good condition. Love the material overall.I am waiting for my second pair coming on this Friday. Can't wait for it.
