broken after 1 time
Hi, these got broken after only 1 time use, not what you expected at all! very disappointed!
Perfect Socks for Either Gender
Not sure why Smartwool insists on labeling certain ambiguous patterns as ""for women"" but these socks are absolutely perfect. My feet get sweaty easily otherwise I would wear the targeted cushion version of these socks for comfiness and longevity but those are too warm.
Defects
Love everything about these socks, except they have a small Defect that prevents me from wearing them on hikes. It's the fabric. Feels like a pebble is in there. First day wearing, must've taken my boots off 12x before realizing it's a defect and not a pebble.
Coziest socks I own!
I love my smartwool socks! These socks are a perfect fit, yet they are breathable and don't feel suffocating on your feet. I use them for everyday activities as well as running and hiking. I've had the same style sock for over a year second hand to me now and there is minimal wear on them. They are still just as comfy. This price point is a little high for what I normally go for, but I recently bought a new pair because I loved them so much. Great quality, highly recommend (:
Some of the BEST all around socks!
Awesome fitting, no cushion, comfortable socks for all uses. They don’t slip down, feet don’t sweat, and they don’t take up much room in your (water) sandals or shoes. They dry quickly (kayaking or wading), wash and air dry easily, and can go for days w/o washing. These have proven very durable. I don’t exactly use them for running, mostly power walking and camp wear with my sandals or crocks. I have multiple pair, Love them, and will buy more.
Great lightweight socks
These socks breathe and have a little cushion. Great if you live in a hot climate or your feet get hot. Smartwool is also a quality brand, and their products hold up even with constant, hard use.
Great until they shrunk
These were great running socks until they shrunk a full size after washing on cold and drying with low heat. This is not my first pair of wool socks, and I’ve never had this problem with other brands, so I was pretty surprised to see this.
Lightweight fast-drying active socks
I bought these after i went on a backpacking trip through the enchantments, got my previous socks wet while crossing streams, and was subsequently miserable as they never dried. I wanted thin but comfortable and durable socks for hiking and trail running. I have used these for many hikes since and for a 5 mile trail run and they are thin but comfortable, very fast drying, and have held up nicely! They dont have as much cushion as my other socks but that is the price you pay for quick dry. Love these!
