Great for hiking but fabric snags

I like the modern length, style & weight of the fabric. However, the fabric snags. After 5 wears, it is snagged & ruined.

Snags easily, not good for hiking

Did not realize PFG stood for “performance fishing gear”. I think this could be a good shirt for fishing or casual wear but as other reviewers mentioned does not work well for hiking since it snags super easily. Photos attached are my shirt after one hike. Fit is great though and the material is comfy. I’m 5’4 and this shirt reaches my hips (not cropped for me) which I prefer. Didn’t feel too hot in the sun either and prevented me from burning at all despite spending hours in alpine zone. Love the shirt besides the snaggability.

Piece of junk, snagged within a week

Snagged on both sides over breasts the first time I wore it (purchased at REI maybe 4 months ago). This lives in the back of my closet until I will eventually take it to resale. Very disappointed - I have a similar no name top that I love, and ordinarily I’m a big Columbia clothing fan, but avoid this one made in San Salvador.

Material snags very easily

I didn’t read the reviews in advance and wish I had. I put the item in the wash, and it snagged in the dryer before I had a chance to wear it! Will sadly need to return it.

Terrible Quality! Snags on anything!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shirts get snags from anything! You could just scratch your head and it'll snag! I won't be buying these again. The snags look terrible because threads get pulled out everywhere!

Snags immediately

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I adore this shirt but agree with the previous review- I think I looked at the shirt and it snagged. So disappointing cause I loved the material and the style

Falls apart

The stitching fell apart in multiple places after 1 wash. It does feel nice & cool & does dry very fast but it will not last. Ended up returning.

very poor quality

I bought this and wore it once climbing, and it immediately pilled and got ruined on the arms. I would recommend not wearing this for anything technical as it’s very cheap quality.

Excellent fit for a short-waisted person

As other reviewers have noted, the tiki pink is more of an orange color, but I do love it. Being short waisted, the cropped version is a really good fit for me. The neck opening is adequate without being overly large, so you don't have the hood flopping all over the place as is the case with some solar hoodies. The fabric is nice, not sheer or see-through, holds its shape.

Breathes Well, Love length

I'm tall but short waisted so really long tops don't fit well. Love the way this top hangs just at my hips and is loose fitting. I've worn it hiking and easy to push up sleeves to elbow when I got a bit hot. The sleeves ate very long and that is good for my long arms. Navy blue color is true. The sleeves don't have thumb loops but frankly I don't care since they are long. Like the hood and just everything about it. Yeah folks report it snags...price you pay for thin material. My pricey Patagonia jacket snags too.
