Nice looking pant that I anticipate will be great for walking, hiking, yard work and just running errands. Sturdy fabric but light-weight. I love the cinch waist, which is great as I detest having to wear belts. I like the security of the 3 zippered front pockets (wish there were a posterior one). The lower one fits my smaller sized cell phone. The upper ones could fit a larger cell, tho this might be uncomfortable with activities requiring much hip flexion. I am 5’6”, 112 #; the size small was too baggy but the XS fits well.
Holy moly where have these pants been all my life? Great pockets that easily fit my phone and whatever else I need. There’s just the right amount of stretch but they don’t lose their shape. And you can tighten the waist with the belt-in belt, a must when your waist is small compared to your hips. I love these pants! I wore them today on a HOT hike and they were great. The material seems heavy but it’s really not. I might need to buy another pair!
The fit of these pants is perfect for my shape, I’m a 5’3 with thicker thighs and a small waist. I was able to fit a base layer under comfortably. I wore these hiking to camp Muir at Mount rainier. The reason I am giving 3 stars is because after only 2 times of wearing the knees are starting to show signs of wear and tear. I am a little disappointed and worried they will rip one day. Maybe these would be better for more casual hiking and not in the snow.
Just got these but I've worn them around my house a couple days and already LOVE them. The large pockets in the front are super spacious and have a little elastic to keep your phone in place too. I have to tighten the belt all the way to fit at my waist (I'm 5'4" ~27" waist & 36" hip), and I had a size small). The rest of the pant fits wonderfully and there is enough room for a solid base layer underneath. Can't wait to take them up on Mt. Hood :)
I am really liking these pants. They are long enough, slim leg, with a thigh pocket that accommodates my phone (barely) without too much fiddling and is harness compatible. I am slim and straight with a 33" inseam and these actually fit. They're a little warm for warm summer days, but I appreciate that they're a little more durable than easily shreddable lightweight pants.
I wanted to love these pants so badly. Their pocket placement/size is perfect, but the durability is pretty poor. After two wears there are a lot of signs of wear and seams are coming loose.
I struggle to find pants that look good on me, and also have the performance features I care about. These pants are really awesome—so well made and features like small gussets for knee action, top quality zippers and compartments. I wish I had found them sooner.
The Mountain Hardwear pants are a perfect fit. They are comfortable, move well with my motion, and will be my go to for hiking.
I love these pants except for one thing - the legs taper too much! If you have muscular calves you can barely get them on and they won't fit over the top of a hiking boot.
I bought these pants previously and another color and loved them so much. I bought another pair. Unfortunately, the sizing is different and this pair is a little too big.
