Went backpacking in moderate rain wearing this, and wound up soaked through and shivering. I was zipped up completely and still, soaked through with the back and sleeves getting the most saturated. It made for a pretty rotten time. I did a lot of research before buying this jacket, so I was really disappointed in its performance. It also took over a day to dry out.
Good quality materials and construction but awkwardly constructed so the fit was bulky and weird. I'm 5'6"and slim, but would not recommend this jacket for any body size.
Great fit. True to size. It has a little stretch as I put it on which makes it easy to put on over any type of top I am wearing. Love the color and fit. I wear this when I am hiking. I would recommend this rain jacket for hiking and activities, travel and everyday wear.
Really thought this would be a lot better quality, but unfortunately the jacket was soaked after 45 minutes in the rain. I don't know if there was some extra step I was meant to do to activate the waterproofing, but I'm disappointed. Aesthetically really nice though.
The lightweight, rainproof, shell jacket I have been looking for, for spring & summer hiking in the PNW. Well made with deep, zipper pockets, pull ties on the hood & at the jacket's base hem, not too long or too short, & the color is vibrant & beautiful. Love it.
This one checks all the boxes. Great, lightweight raincoat with two hand and one chest phone pocket. I utilized them all during my 5 days of trekking in Patagonia one of which included 6 hours of heavy, steady rain. The few hours I didn’t need the jacket, it rolled up into a tiny bundle that was easy to stow in my pack. I love the stretch that’s built in. So comfortable. The pit zips were great when needed. The hood worked well, although I wore a visor underneath to keep the rain off my face and glasses which also managed the hood opening while turning my head, etc. so I can’t speak to how it cinches or whatever. I had this same jacket in black and wanted a different color so researched everything out there and couldn’t find anything better at any price. Many lightweight, packable, stretch raincoats are shorter and remove the front hand pockets which I find so weird. So I bought this same jacket in a brighter color. My only request - make it in red! It’s such a great color when trying to spot someone in the rain and it really pops in photos!
I love this jacket. It’s so comfortable and cute, but it’s not a rain coat. I wore it to play disc golf in the rain and was drenched in 20 mins. Water resistant for light sprinkles would be a better description.
Good: lightweight, no plastic feel, quiet, breathable. Bad: not up for long-time walk in rain. I hiked 4 hours in medium-to-heavy rain and turned out to be completely soaked.
This is just what I needed for all of the spring rain. Lightweight and breathable for those rainy days. You will not be disappointed and this colour is perfection!
