Good bug protection, but pills

The fabric is great for protection against bugs and dries quickly. Unfortunately, it quickly pilled in front.

Great material and fit!

I have had these for a few weeks now. I really like the feel and stretch. As a bigger legged guy I always struggle with hiking/climbing pants being way too tight on me in the thigh region. I can say these have a great fit. For reference I am 6'4" and about 250lbs and bought an XL. The length is great and waist feels good. Pants breathe very well and I am excited to take them with me on some backpacking trips this spring to get a good feel for them. I also love the ankle tightening straps as I always prefer a jogger cuff style on my pants. I hope Mountain Hardwear adds more colors as I will definitely be getting another pair or two down the road. We will see in a few months the durability of these pants but so far they have a good build.

Best yet ! Absolutely superb climbing pants 10/10

In the 25 years that I’ve been an athlete for Hardwear, I think these are the best pants they have ever made! 10/10 The fit is perfect, with a conical waist articulated knees and pockets in the right places, with zips where you need them and the right size for large phones or anything else you might want to put in them. Hydrophobic, fast drying and stretchy - Boom 💥 Top marks for the technical outward designers that did the fine tuning on this one 😜🙌

Great pants would buy again

Great pants, like the comfort and fit. Im 6 foot 235lbs and the Xl fits well. I really like the multiple choices for inseam as i have shorter legs and long torso. I bought these with backpacking in mind especially with the built in belt. Ive had a couple people comment on that they are sharp looking. Since i just got them and haven't tested them on the trail yet i cant speak to there quality but to what I see there made extremely well.

My new favorite pants

Perfect fit and feel, the moment I pulled them out I noticed how lightweight the pants are. I was impressed by the zipper, button, and included belt. I’m 5’9” 140lbs and as a naturally skinnier guy, these have to be the best fitting pants I’ve worn from any clothing manufacturer in years. I will be buying more pairs of these to ensure I have enough pants I actually enjoy wearing for once.

BEST PANTS !!!

This is by far my favorite pant! The fit is perfect. They offer huge range of mobility and just enough protection from the elements to make them the first pair of pants I grab for anything really. I’ve worn these around the globe and will continue to.

Alpine Softshell

These are excellent. The fit and stretch are making them fantastic for climbing. I like having the zipper pockets so I don't have to worry about stuff falling out of them. Looking forward to trying them out on an alpine hike!

Quality to Last

Very comfortable practical & durable KUHL has so many great designs but do not hold up well to use & wear out to throw away too soon! All my Mountain Hardwear pants are luxuurious and still hard at it!

Pretty great

These are really great lightweight, fast-drying hiking pants with well-positioned, super-useful zippered pockets. Wore them for a week straight on the Camino de Santiago in all sorts of conditions!

Great hiking pants

Great pants could definitely benefit from back pocket for the price it costs as well as ditch the rope on the zippers I typically find it more time on the ground or washer than I do on my pants
