[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I typically wear a 11.5 Wide but if wides are not available I get a 12 and they fit good. In these shoes I got a 12 and surprisingly they are a bit loose width wise. They are very comfortable despite feeling loose in the width of it. My feet don’t feel tired like normal and my arches don’t hurt since wearing these for my runs and at the gym. They are super lightweight but feel high quality. I like the color of these but the style looks a little on the feminine side. I’m still really happy with them. I would recommend these for anyone who has had pain in their feet when running because I noticed a difference after 1 day of use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a casual runner and frequent gym goer, these shoes are my new go-to for both. I was never really one for premium athletic shoes but these have changed my mind. The foam under the heel is solid enough to give great support but still comfortable enough to make you feel like you're running on a cloud. Even for walking or standing around all day at work they feel great. The materials definitely feel very premium. I got the normal version of the shoe but the fit is just a little bit too snug for me. If you think you would need a wide version then I would defiantly opt for it. That being said, these were the first brooks I've tried but it definitely won't be the last.
A step down. My feet hurt. Been wearing Glycerin in 14 Wide exclusively for years because of their amazing comfort. Not these. There seems to be a seem right above the laces that makes the shoe too narrow and tight for me, causing unnecessary pressure and pain. This has not been an issue for me in any previous generation. Back to my worn out 20s and 19s until I can find a new shoe that fits properly. Just bought two pair of these in different colors and was so excited. Tried a second time and they just are not right. Bummer. And I just saw the new Glycerin Max does not come in wide. Double bummer.
I've had the Glycerine GTS20 for 5 months and they are great. I walk on average 20-22 km a day for fork so I go through runners quickly. The GTS 21 are a very nice upgrade while still giving me the surity of Brooks quality. I had been wearing Brooks beast for the last 5 years and these feel so much lighter.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comfortable to wear the best shoes ive ever had, i can run 6.1 ks a day for 5 days in a row now & only becoming better on further runs & im 45
The shoe is very comfortable for walking, as advertised, but the sole is so thick and wide that any comfort and stability afforded is counterbalanced by a marshmallow-like experience where you have to remember to lift you legs higher to avoid constantly scraping the shoe on the pavement. This becomes almost dangerous on uneven surfaces like cobblestones where I found myself being tripped up by my own shoes. Perhaps some of this is me with my flat feet and proto-drop step but I have had these shoes before, the soles seem even more padded, the effect is like driving an old American car with boat-like steering, and I will likely not buy these again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These running sneakers are awesome and came just in time for my training. I am going to be running a half marathon in March and just started getting back into longer distances. My first run with these I realized they are the cream of the crop for fit and comfort. My other running sneakers were good but these are a notch above! The color pops as well and can go well with any short/shirt combo. While running through the neighborhood some of my neighbors later saw me and asked what brand they were. I don't know if it is the sneaker or not but my time has improved as well :) I couldn't recommend these more!! Fantastic running sneaker. 5 Stars!
Stylish black on black yet soft cushion running shoe
This is definitely different from the typical Brooks sole. There is a greater rocker at the metarsal heads which takes some getting used to. Definitely very cushy from heel to that point. Good for roads but would not use on trails due to muted feel. Also, outer sole rubber is great on dry clean pavement but if wet at all or dirty/sandy you definitely slide back a little with each stride. Am enjoying the thicker upper material this winter, but know this will get too sweaty in the summer, or heavy if it rains. Still a good shoe for a specific purpose.
