Read up on and watched some videos about Benchmade knives. I was thinking of the Barrage (assisted open) or the Bugout. So glad I went into my local REI and tried out the knives I had. The staff member who helped me was super helpful. Getting to try out different knives helped me arrive at this partially serrated Bailout. The carbon fiber handle feels stable in the hand. No slipping, and easy to operate. The knife comes out of the box sharp, and looks great! While it's larger than the knife I have been carrying, it is much lighter. Clip is unintrusive. Being able to use the 20% off coupon was the cherry on top!
Useful Piece of Gear.
Super handy and just overall fantastic. Very well built, lightweight, and easy to carry. I love having partial serrations and wish Benchmade would make more knives partially serrated.
