[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If I'm not mistaken this beanie was supposed to be "one size fits all". Unfortunately, that is not the case. The beanie has an outer shell which is soft and knitted from good insulting material. However, there is a fabric inside that lines the beanie, a cap, and even though it prevents heat from escaping, it is not elastic enough. Or maybe my insert was just sown too small. Either way, it makes the beanie almost unusable for anybody with a medium to large sized head as it does not stretch and overly constricts my head. It's a great product, if your head is small.

I recently purchased The North Face Salty Lined Beanie, and I am thoroughly impressed! The fit is snug but not too tight, providing great warmth without feeling restrictive. An excellent mix of style and comfort!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried beanies from almost all of the popular brands, but this Salty Dog Beanie beats them all by a huge margin. It is comfortable, has a good fit, looks good, has unique colors, and its quality is much better than others. Although a bit expensive in comparison but it is worth the price. I initially purchased one, then another, and then another. I think I have become obsessed with these beanies. One particular thing I liked is the cloth they have stitched inside this beanie. It creates a barrier between your hair and the beanie's woven fabric, so the hair doesn't get tangled in the woven threads. Moreover, it also helps creating a secure fit.

I head been looking at these for a long time and finally decided to buy it. I chose red because of the association to commercial dibers. I also chose the Salty Dog because of the look. Once I received it it was red with black areas in the pattern. The photo shows them as red and that is also how they are advertised in the color selection. They are falsly advertised by their color. It also stretched out after wearing it for a day and was loose on my head. I an very disappointed in the product.
I would not recommend this for ppl with hair or for play
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great at first but once it gets wet it's no longer warm. While playing in the snow it fell off and that was it. It was too wet to put back on. Also, it does not retain its size. It stretches and is more likely to fall off. I have a lot of hair and it shifted off a lot. My bald husband did not have a problem. That is until we started playing in the snow and it got wet. My daughter's $6 beanie from Academy held up better to the use and play.
I would purchase this product again!
I got this product about a year ago for myself and fell in love with the color and warmth! I recently purchased it again as a Valentine's Day gift for my boyfriend, and he loves it too! The color and style are perfect for the colder months, and he couldn't be happier with it!

Just love how perfect the beanie fits my son's head since he has a lot of hair. Beautiful color which matches his one piece snow suit from North Face. My favorite part of the beanie is the red outline. Makes the beanie pops.
Best winter beanie
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased this beanie and I was appalled by the quality of it. It fits so nice and the texture was surprisingly plush and soft evidently. I got an olive green hoodie to it was a perfect match to get. P
