Outstanding Do It All Tank Top (Size Down

I live in wool tank tops year-round. It is extremely rare that I am not wearing one, even if it is as a first layer during colder months. In this style (no matter what brand), you almost always need to SIZE DOWN one size; and some people may even go down two sizes. Ordinarily, I do not even like the “muscle” tee/tank style, but this one has a perfect feminine cut, while still embodying the strong, confident vibe many of us appreciate. For reference, I wear a medium in the Siren tank, and a small in the 125 Cool-Lite Sphere III tank. In most Icebreaker pieces, whether top or bottom, I generally prefer size medium, but every now and then I like a large (for instance, in some full-length leggings). I already have stacks of the Siren tanks, and now I have a growing stack of these as well; both are year-round daily staples I will not live without. While it is true that not every one of these tanks is consistently assembled and/or symmetrically proportioned, for most brands, I am long accustomed to ordering multiple units and returning those that do not fit perfectly. Yes, it is a hassle, but I am used to it, and this tank is SO worth it. Icebreaker, if you are reading this, please do NOT change a thing about the size small in this style (except for general quality control and manufacturing consistency). I have a long torso, long arms, and the dimensions are absolutely perfect for me. This tank is SO soft, tremendously comfortable, and incomparably feather-light. It feels like wearing nothing. As with many Icebreaker pieces, this garment dramatically decreases stress on a daily basis, and instantly became an indispensable element of my minimalist wardrobe. Thank you! 🙏🏻

It's perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered the size L and my bust measurement is 39.5 inches, I am a 34H (US) in bra cups. The fit is perfect, it's not too tight but not too loose. I have sensitive skin and the fabric feels silky and not at all itchy, icebreaker is my favorite brand for wool clothes bc they have the softest, silkiest knits. As other reviewers have mentioned, the armpits are intentionally large. This is an athletic cut that is supposed to be looser, sort of like a basketball jersey. I like the armhole fit bc I find the top doesn't get as sweaty since the fabric isn't snug in my armpit. And it breathes better as I move around. As they say, it's a feature not a bug. I have 4 of these tanks and they have quickly replaced my other workout tops.

Defective/irregular

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to get this shirt delivered and love the color. However, I was very disappointed to discover I received an irregular item. The side seams are not in the same place (one falling behind my arm, the other in front of), and the front hem was different lengths from left to right. The right side being noticeably shorter than the left. Bummer. Returning. Lots of irregularities. And very overpriced, considering.

Fantastic top

I bought one of these, and then a second, and then a third and fourth. I run a farm and wear this top almost exclusively. It’s light and breezy in the hot humid summer, and I can put it through lots of activities and it stands up to them all. It maintains color and shape after many wears and washes. I prefer loose tops: I’m a size 6, 34D, and I got a medium. Couldn’t be happier with this top!

Versatile vest - great fabric

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this vest top. This is the second one because I love the original one so much. Fit is generous. Fabric is great - very comfortable in the heat, but breathable and soft. Does not make you feel sticky or smelly as 'technical' synthetic fabrics do. Don't be put off by the fact it is wool. This is the perfect shirt for adventure in the heat.

Athletic cut, nice base layer

I am wearing this tank under flannels (casual walks, etc.) and blazers (work). Bra shows under the arms so I can't remove my blazer when the office is too hot. Would buy again, but I would prefer a little more coverage so I could wear the tank alone.

I love this Tank

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third purchase of this tank- and I love it. I travel with it all winter- super easy to hand wash and quick dry. The fabric is so soft and comfortable, no itchy, scratchy feeling and never gets too warm even inside. This is the best.

Arm holes way too big

I'm begging Icebreaker to go back to the original fit of these shirts! I wear them for everything (workout, travel, around town, brunch) but my old ones are wearing out and the arm holes of the new ones are way too big and show lots of bra.
