I ordered these for my 2 daughters. My oldest is 13 years old 5'6 135lbs : ordered a Medium, my youngest is 12 years old 5'5 125lbs: ordered a Small. Both bibs fit like a glove (despite them being TALL). I personally felt like they were very thin but my daughter wore them to go snowboarding over the weekend and surprizingly she said they are very warm. They seem to be wind proof, so that helps alot. We'll see when it goes down to -20C. Anyways, I've shopped quite a bit for bibs online and compared look and price and they are absoluetly perfect! Very good quality. My girls are happy - they feel cool riding on the ski slopes with their new ''snowcrew bibs''.
Great set of bibs! Warm but lightweight. Great cuff at the bottom, pant pocket zippers go the proper way. So glad there is a zipper on the bib pocket and it's a good size. THEY COME IN SHORT SIZES!!!!!!! As someone with short legs I am so grateful that OR makes short sizing. Ski pants have always been way too long for those of us under 5'4". Sooooo happy for elastic straps and a LONG side zipper to make using the restroom very easy, don't even have to remove your coat! Great set of pants.
I’ve been wanting bibs for several years and finally pulled the trigger during a great OR sale. These have been game changers for me! They have just the right amount of insulation, and I like that they have thigh vents in case it’s too warm out. The color is amazing and so many people have complimented the look and fit. The waterproofing has held up well so far! Thanks Outdoor Research!
I would give this 5 stars if it had. drop hatch to make going to the bathroom easier and I wasn't concerned about longevity. The side pockets are deep and the key holder is clutch. I do think the front pocket is good for little things but you need to keep it closed to prevent things from falling out with the side entry. The insulation is good and lightweight. Sizing is on point - and these have good sized legs if you like to squat or have bigger thighs.
Great pair of pants for the most part but durability is questionable. I had a clasp partially snap after two wears. Size is right for me and I didn’t wear them too high/tight so I wasn’t sure what happened. When I asked REI to take them back, they said they’d take the return as a manufacturing warranty because the manufacturer knows that plastic doesn’t hold up well in the cold. Weird, but I let them give me my money back lol. This is my first real season out and I only tried this and the north face bib, which was way too stiff and odd-fitting. So I reordered this hoping it was a fluke. I’ve been out 2-3 more times and they’re holding up fine so we’ll see. Sizing: I’m 5’7” and my weight has ranged from 136-142 (athletic pear). I got the S tall and they’re perfect. They drag a little in regular shoes but are exactly the length I wanted with boots. They’re nice and stretchy and haven’t been too tight at any part of my weight range. Warmth: with a base layer, I’ve been okay as low as 11* F lift rides(would’ve been better with a heavyweight base layer instead of midweight). Completely wind-proof, waterproof as well. I haven’t had to use the vents as cold as it’s been. The right pocket has an carabiner for keys and a smaller mesh pocket where I keep my ID and credit card. All in all, they’re perfect except for the questionable durability. I’m hoping this second pair does okay.
Used them skiing and came home and ordered another pair. It is rare to find bibs made for tall women and then ones that actually fit to size and fit well.
These bibs are durable and waterproof and we use them for rain gear when hunting/shooting, not just for skiing.
Love this bib! Not the most slimming bib ever, but nice and tall. Easy to put on and off to pee
