comfortable hiking shoe
ordered these for my wife as i recommened them to her since I already had the Free Hiker Gore tex hiking boots. we recently came back from a 6 hour hike with various type of terrain. she mentioned they were the most comfortable hiking shoes shoes owned, slightly wider around the toe box which she appreciates. no break in period, no blisters, feet didn't get tired. overall great grip she felt confident that she wouldnt slip even on looser soil/dirt and when going up steep inclines and going down steep declines. Great for smaller hikes or trail walking although if you want more ankle support I'd recommend going with the Free Hiker Hiking boot instead. 100% recommend
Boost and Continental are the best combo!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got these on sale as a gift. The price was more affordable that way. First off the boost sole is probably the best sole that adidas has. Big let down that adidas is moving away from shoes with boost. These shoes have boost along with the continental rubber bottom. It’s a great durable combo. And I suggest adidas stick with this combo if they want to sell shoes. Saying all of that, these shoes fit true to size. And the colors are great for the outdoors !
Runs large
Great cushion and good material. Comfortable shoes and seems breathable. I purchased for the Gore-tex, hoping to wear them for rainy days while travelling. I have narrow feet and usually wear a size 8 running shoe with insoles. I bought the 7.5 seeing some reviews to size down, but now wish I had sized down by a full size. Unfortunately, they are a return for me since the 7 is sold out.
Shoe review
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel that there’s something wrong with the way the shoe was made. Left to right the feeling is quite a bit different and I never have that with other shoes that I wear, including the adidas brand. The left shoe seems a little shorter and it pulls up in the front much more than it does on the right shoe. It is very awkward to walk in these shoes.
LOVE
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this shoes SO much! I've worn them day to day in the city. for dog walks on the beach and taken them up mountains in Switzerland ... they're grippy, give great ankle stability, nice & roomy so no pinching (and I have quite wide feet) ... best of all they look great (not easy to find in a hiking shoe!)
Great shoe, downsize for best fit
These do fit big. I'm normally a 7, but wish I ordered a 6.5 as that would have fit better. I did have to get an insole as the sole cushioning isn't really great for hikers. They are great shoes despite all that. The tread is great on all terrain.
Fantastic purchase
These shoes are extremely comfortable right out of the box. I like the grip on both wet and dry terrain, and the design is stylish without being flashy. I also appreciate how lightweight they feel. So far, they’ve been very durable and breathable.
Senior Citizen Approved
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are my first pair of hiking shoes. I have a narrow foot with a high arch. I walked a trail that included rocks and loose gravel without difficulty. As a senior citizen, I appreciated the stability of the shoe.
simply perfect!
got the core black color way. simplicity at it's best. have all the features by adidas i was looking for. boost, continental rubber sole and Gore-Tex membrane. sturdy and comfy. perfect package!
So comfortable. Size down a bit.
Very comfortable- wide toe box. Sturdy. I ordered half a size down and I wear full footbed custom orthotics. Still roomy. I like my shoes on the roomy side- if you don’t, order a full size down.
