Comfortable, I wear a size 10 but had to exchange for a 10.5 . Ron small And toe box is not as wide as the other Altras in my opinion. I wore them in the Trans Catalina Trail and my left foot 2nd toe nail is coming off. The toe nail was jamming into the tip of the shoe even on even terrain. Great shoe overall, lots of cushion , did not feel the rock under foot!
