Thanks for a comfortable, supportive shoe!
Love my new On shoes!!! I have been a Hoka - girl for, well as long as Hoka has been. With changing styles every year, they changed right out of my comfort zone and Ons picked it up in a very comfortable, supportive way!! These are so much more comfortable than anything I have tried for a couple years. I have a lumbar multi- level fusion, so I have some issues that I am very careful with, these shoes help. I’m not running marathons right now, but have. The cloudeclipe would be a nice addition, due to comfort, light weight, mesh cooling, not riding high on ankles yet supportive, maintaining a neutral foot position. Thank you!!

From a 10 to a 2
In store, I LOVED these. I noticed they sit very high on the ankle, but it was more an observation than an issue. Love the 6mm drop. Love the max cushioning. I *thought* they'd be like the Surfer except not as squishy and more cushioned. HOWEVER. the sitting high on the ankle is actually a huge problem. I have run a total of 14 miles in 4 short runs. Woke up in the middle of the night with EXTREME pain next to my ankle where the shoe hits. Now I can barely bear any weight on that foot. Will be returning no doubt. Wish the upper was like the surfer but it is really bad.

Great fit and comfort level.

I am not sure why some have complained about this shoe rubbing ankle. Not issues here. Also no issues with squeaking either. My first pair of On’s I am a fan now and have already ordered waterproof Cloudhorizon pairs for both my wife and myself.

Great for track!

I bought these shoes for running class and they are great! I’m able to run smoothly on the track without having the hot uncomfortable sensation on my feet. Feels like I’m on a cloud.

Comfortable but squeaks

Shoes are so comfortable. I bought a 9.5 and normally wear a 10. But two weeks after wearing left shoes starting squeaking. Couldn’t handle it noise, returned and rebound but, 3 weeks later, shoes are squeaking again. Not worth the money

Finally!

I went into REI for the cloud monster 2 for some reason they just didn’t feel like i expected them i saw the eclipse and decided to try them on. First im usually a 9.5 in EVERY SHOE. In the cloud monster 2 i was a 9 and in the eclipse i was a 8.5 comfortably & i have chunky feet lol. The shoe literally feels like walking on a cloud. I got the pair with the tan bottom because they would show less dirt. I’m waiting for more colors because these aren’t the best but the comfort is enough to keep me a customer.

SQUEAKS! ARGH!

The reports of squeaking are true! At least, that's what I found. I loved these for their incredible cushion and arch support (I have VERY high arches). But after about 1 month, and maybe 8 walks, the squeaking started. Initially, I thought it was from the trail being wet after it'd rained. Nope. Hoping the company addresses this. But I must return these, or I will go mad from the squeaks!

Walking on foam, very comfortable

I normally wear Hoka shoes because I suffer of plantar fasciitis but decided to give it try On Cloudeclipse sneakers this last time. These shoes are very comfortable, it is like walking on spongy springs. They absorb the impact shock especifically around the heels. I wear them all day and at the end of my work day I feel no pain. Run small in size though. I wear 8.5 but had to get 9.

Very squeaky after a couple months

These are great shoes in that they are comfortable and look nice BUT I will have to return them. I work in healthcare and as I've worn these, they started to squeak horribly. Apparently, this is a problem with a lot of On Cloud shoes. They are incredibly comfortable and my feet never hurt but the noise drove me insane.

Great with Some Issues

I have sensitive feet. Wide with a high arch. Altra Mont Blanc caused terrible plantar facciitis. I could never get a comfy fit with any HOKA. So I tried ON brand. Bought and returned Cloudrunner 2 (too soft and caused shin splints) Cloudmonster was too stiff. Couldeclipse is a good in between. Soft but with support. Issue is it runs high on the ankle. I fixed it by adding my own arch support insoles which raises my ankle a bit. Sizing is very different for all ON models. Eclipse runs short on my usual 6.5 while the 7 runs long. I have to wear thick Smartwool socks with padding to get a better fit otherwise my feet move around a lot. Love the comfy mesh upper for my high volume feet no pressure on tops of my feet. They need to make a 6.75 size and they would be a perfect 5stars for me. Also color options could be improved. I bought the fade color. Hope they come out with better colors.
