Perfect shoe for California winters!
This shoe has been a great all purpose shoe for my kids. They hike, run, climb trees, splash puddles, but also wear to school everyday. The Velcro makes it easy for my 4 year old to put on by himself with plenty of confidence. I also sized a quarter inch bigger for his foot to grow into and since the shoe is so solid his foot doesn’t slide around or slip off. The width of the shoe is all a major feature it’s very important for me to have shoes that have room for his little toes to move around and not be constricted. Will be buying again!!
Wishing for half sizes for kids
Really wishing Keen made half sizes for kids. Got an 11 for my kiddo because his size 10 Keen sandals from last season are getting small. The size 11 are very large, but at least I know he will eventually grow into them, and I'm hesitant to exchange for that reason. Was hesitant based on reviews too but we haven't worn them enough to speak to how they hold up yet.
Wishing for half sizes for kids
Bought these for my busy, outdoors kiddo. I wish Keen did half sizes for kids. My son has size 8 Keen sandals from last season that are too small, so I bought him nines and he's swimming in them, and I'm hesitant to exchange since his sandals are too small and I know eventually these will actually fit
Lasted for less than a month
We bought this shoe for our 5 year old son. He is really hard on his shoes. These lasted him less than a month before the sides started to fray and the lace on one of the shoes came out. Keen was very generous with their shoe guarantee but these shoes really did not hold up.
Worsened quality
We usually love Keen products, but these frayed the first week of wear, and now, after just a month or two of use, there are cracks where my son bends his toes. I don't think they're really waterproof anymore. We are really bummed, and won't be buying these again.
sweaty and frayed
My son’s feet were drenched with sweat after wearing these. They also began fraying after only the first wear and all we did was walk around the city — nothing rough. We LOVE lots ok Keens, but sadly these weren’t winners.
Good shoes
Good and sturdy shoes for playground and hiking. My daughter likes them. Although the rubber fabric on the top of the shoe started to peel after some time. I bought them on sale otherwise too pricy.
Not waterproof
First time wear out of the box through wet grass and the toes of my boys socks were wet! Really disappointed as we were looking for a full waterproof light hiker/shoe for rainy weather.
Comfortable, too much plastic
Good design and comfortable however, the exterior fabric contains too much plastic resulting in feeling hot if worn long.
BEST KIDS SHOE OF ALL TIME!
If you have an active toddler, these are an absolute must! Water resistant, rugged, keeps him dry and happy 😃
