Snow Peak Kettle 1
I've been waiting for REI to get these back in stock for a while. I picked it up today and I've already tweaked it to make the bail stand up (by bending each side of the bail tabs out just a bit).

Hmmm...
This product has been the perfect size for my camping trips. I started noticing some dull spots appear on the inside bottom of this Snow Peak product. Today, I checked on it and there is now rust developing on the bottom near the side. It says this is corrosive resistant but this looks like corrosion to me. It is too late to bring it back, but wanted to write a review to any future customers of this product to keep an eye out. I really liked it. Used it mainly to boil water for food and rice noodles or hard boiled eggs. I will not be using for any water for food or foods. Will be shopping for another similar product. I am a Sad camper.

Stylish, lightweight kettle.

This is a good stainless steel pot that looks very nice. Only things I do not like are the floppy handles. They just swing around and do not stay in place, including the one on the lid. Also, when camping the spout access is a little hard to clean if you dont have a small straw brush or something that can get underneath the spout part.

Survival Stuff

This perfect size pot is one of my standard camping/bushcraft items. Features that make it a great item are: durable, bail handle for hanging over fire, lid for less spills, folding handle for pouring, stainless for cleaning, one liter for good measure. It's a versital container for multiple uses. A must have in my favorite outdoor gear stuff.

Good stuff, worth the price

This is a great all around kettle. You can do everything with it in terms of cooking, boiling and could use it as a bowl. Big enough to fit a Snow Peak 300 cup, MSR pocket rocket and shorter utensils inside making it a compact package. This is one of my favorite camp kitchen purchases and recommend this for a all round cooking item.

Almost

It very close to perfect. Needs a detent to hold the handle up, it’s easy to bend the tabs to keep it up but not ideal. Spout is slow and requires patience, easily spills out of the lid. But it’s built solid as expected from snow peak

Great little pot

Love this thing. Used it to make aeropress coffee for two people on a camping trip – one pot full of water is good for 2 cups of coffee. Boiled super fast on my jetboil, and the stove nests well inside (even though it's on the bigger side for a jetboil stove).

great for all-round use

this little kettle is great for the home and the trails. as a prior review states, bending the steel tabs on either side outward slightly will help keep the handle upright. well done Snowpeak.
