Poor craftsmanship
Toe seam busted open the first time running in them
Feeling of bunching under the toe area
I’ve been using these “zero” cushion socks for many, many years. Lately, however, the toe area feels a bit thicker in shoes, sort of bunching up under the toe area. It feels that way but it’s not exactly doing that. Sounds weird, but what I can say about that is it’s just not a tight feeling under the toes. I’ve been trying bike and run and whatever other socks, same thing. They changed the recipe!
Sweaty feet? Buy these socks.
I have been wearing Smartwool apparel (mostly socks) for at least ten years. The durability is outstanding, but what is most significant for me is the use of wool in the design. I have sweaty feet, which used to result in me getting warts on my feet when I wore cotton socks because that's what I had always done. Since I've switched to Smartwool, the sweat is wicked away from my feet, and I haven't had a wart on my feet since I made the switch. I will continue to purchase these socks because of the way they have improved my sock-wearing experience.
Hole after only a few wears
I purchased these socks exacrly 2 months ago and one already has a hole in it! I'm very disappointed in the quality of this product.
Smartwool the OG wool sock
Smartwool socks are my all time favorite. The comfort and quality are unmatched. I typically get a couple years out of each pair. For certain activities that require more cushion, I like the targeted cushion. For other activities that don't require as much cushion or for hot weather, the no cushion are great. I wear them every day. They also make a great gift.
Thin even for zero cushion
Theyre not bad but kinda meh. a tad tight in the toe box area but hope they strech with use. they feel thin even for a zero cushion. only had em a week so not sure how long theyll hold up
Best sock ever
Comfortable and cool. These are my go to everyday sock. Cushion equals heat in my experience and being that these are cushionless they are great for all day comfort. I wear for hiking, running, golfing, and everyday. Couldn't be happier with them. Ive had multiple pairs to date, and will continue to use forever.
Stays comfortable in extreme heat.
I needed good socks to walk in when the heat is oppressive, and my cotton socks weren't comfortable. These are perfect. They don't get overly hot or sweaty, they don't get sucked into my shoes when walking, and even with no cushion, they are comfortable. Smartwool has now become my 4 season go to!
Great Running Socks
Have two pair for running. Very comfortable, great moisture wicking, fit as expected. Have had them for about month so far. Have had them for about a month with no issues. Have a couple pair of the mid as well (for about 4 months, same comfort, also no issues). Would buy again.
Great summer socks!
Perfect socks for long walks in the hot summer weather. Unlike other low ankle socks these stay nicely in place and don’t slide down the back of my heel. They do a great job of keeping my feet dry and comfortable.
