Smartwool has been the only brand sock I wear for years. Always has been worth every penny. Until now. These are thin and flimsy - they will not hold the shape and do not fit your feet. The reason to buy quality socks is that they will really fit and help reduce blisters. These actually slip down and the corner seem was unraveling before washing them. Pulling them on - if you pull them up a little rough - the corner splits apart. I have socks from smartwool that have hiked 100's of miles and do not even seem worn down, let. alone unravel or easily split at the corner seem. Even the unpadded thin socks. Please go back to manufacturing the right quality. PLEASE!!!!

After a just 3 or 4 wearings for exercising (casual jogging or walking etc) they developed holes in various toe area. I originally throught it's my toes or toe nails issue. But that's not the case. Still, this shouldnt happen after a month or two. I have owned about 10 to 15 pairs of smartwool socks . All my ultra lights share the same durability issues. Wearing the also the ultralight socks from Icebreaker (which is even thinner ) i did not have these issues. There is clearly a durability issues with smartwool ultralight line. Despite my purchase is well within smartwool""s 24 month satisfaction warranty period, my warranty claim submission was ignored, not even a reply from smartwool. Very disappointed.

I have been wearing Smartwool apparel (mostly socks) for at least ten years. The durability is outstanding, but what is most significant for me is the use of wool in the design. I have sweaty feet, which used to result in me getting warts on my feet when I wore cotton socks because that's what I had always done. Since I've switched to Smartwool, the sweat is wicked away from my feet, and I haven't had a wart on my feet since I made the switch. I will continue to purchase these socks because of the way they have improved my sock-wearing experience.

Smartwool socks shrink in the wash. I would normally get a size large but after a couple washes Smartwool socks are painfully tight on my toes. I try stretching them out to make them longer but it doesn't work. So now I buy extra large because these shrink down to the correct size. Problem solved. Except with these zero cushion socks. Even the extra large are small and are shrinking up to be too small. The cushioned low ankle socks are great, just get one size larger. These need maybe two sizes larger. Unfortunately, xl is the largest.

Light and comfortable would definitely buy again. Great colors and perfect height. Money well spent. Perfect amount of cushion while running performance is great.

The zero cushion sock is well made. I have purchased many socks that are synthetic fiber, cotton blend and found during hot weather runs, my feet may be dry BUT… the ball of my feet are burning, no joke. I always try something new, shame on me. Today purchased another 3 pair. I have purchased these in the passed only hope the material is the same as was (3) years ago. I posted a picture and you see the sock on the right (inner side) is very smooth so…No burning feet. I wear these to run weekly races from 10k -1 mile.

The zero cushion is the most comfortable for me, especially where I live in Bangkok Thailand. I love the cut as they sit below the ankle and the top of them sit at the top of my gym and running shoes, so they're very minimal. They take longer to smell than normal cotton socks, so I can rewear them before washing. And they last ages - I just bought several of them to replace some that are around 5 years old. I'll keep coming back. #sweepstakes

They are comfortable and very breathable socks. They are thin around the foot and have some thickness around the ankles, which I really like. They fit well and have a nice feel to them. Ultra light is a very good description of them. Since they are thin, I am concerned how durable they are, but so far they have held up well. I only have about 50 miles on them so far and will keep running in them for sure. I am excited to try them on a hot summer day and see how they do. I will be buying another pair down the road.

These crew socks withstood the test of an active child enrolled in an all-outdoor school for well over a year in the Pacific NW. These socks kept feet warm, didn't wear any holes, and are still in great condition. My only complaint? The socks don't grow as quickly as a child's feet! I purchased another 7 to 8 pairs of the same crew socks this year (only in a larger size!), with full confidence that the great quality we've come to trust and love from Smart Wool will withstand!
