My wife is 4ft 11in and just got into cycling last year. We got her a salsa journeyer as salsa in one of limited companies that makes a bike that fits her. She is enjoying casual 20 mile rides around where we live thats pretty flat terrain with me but hasn't built the confidence yet to go do some longer rides with mostly gravel and some Elevation down at our property. This bike is exactly what she was looking for and only plans to use the assist when needed. She can't wait to build up her confidence more with this light e bike that fits her. The last ebike we tried out was nice but just a tad too big for her and it was much heavier at 50 pounds.
This is the move and exactly what I’ve been looking for. I’m not an expert biker, but I do have a specialized road bike and a Onewheel, so I do get on the road/ trails often. This has been a game changer for me. Super light for an e bike, the tires are a great size and make for a smooth ride and with 3 level assists and NO assist, you can ride however you’re comfortable/ level is. Also, the new shifter that I’m not use to is so much easier and smoother than my road bike. I’m totally happy with this bike and recommend it!
I been riding on this guy for a few months! I love the bike! If you are looking for a light weight e-bike I recommend this one or something similar. Personally I don’t need the peddle assist on all that much due to the weight. Where I live it’s nice to have the option to get up these hills and the end of my commute home.
This bike is absolutely the move. First off, for an E-bike this is surprisingly light weight. I love the three levels of assist and that you can just ride it without any assist. The tires are a great size and I have already put miles on the road and some trails (nothing too crazy currently.) I will say, I am just now getting into biking from Onewheeling (still do both) but this has been a great purchase and I am very pleased!
Great bike, especially for hills and head winds. Only issue is the motor cutting off at 20 mph on flats. Excellent ride/ responsiveness, accurate and fast shifting, good braking. Great range, did 60 mile ride and used just over half battery, though was riding without motor much of ride. Subtle enough as an e-bike that you can lock it up and not worry about theft. Not super light, but light enough to roll or carry up stairs.
Fabulous bike! My second e-bike, sales person at Seattle Flagship store recommended it. I love this bike! heavier than a light weight carbon bike but for an e-bike, light; handles like a bike. Love the tires on all terrain, love the gearing, love the assist. Obviously, can't say enough about this bike!
