Eco No flow
Item would no charge on A/C right out of the box. No charging power at all. the unit turned on and no internal charging power on the unit.
WORST LITHIUM BATTERY COMPANY - NO ECOFLOW
NEVER ever buy anything from EcoFlow, every product I purchased from EcoFlow has been nothing but defective manufacturing and getting customer service to promptly replace/fix has been PURE AGGRAVATION DELAY, hard to get FedEx to accept shipping lithium with prepaid label due to level 9 hazard classification, then getting the replacement product you have to sign for it upon delivery, Not really FedEx fault but EcoFlow FAILS ACROSS EVERY SINGLE CATEGORY from reliability to customer service, when it works it is GREAT, but when it FAILS you are COMPLETELY HOSED out of time, work time. NO MORE ECOFLOW
Excellent product and an unbelievable price
The River 2 is engineered and built to the highest standards for an incredibly low price. I would expect to pay double for this type of quality and performance. The app offers easy control of settings and the ability to check battery status and temperature remotely. I use my River 2 to run a 12 volt fridge with a 100 watt panel mounted to the roof of my truck. I can easily check the battery status wether I’m in a hotel or at a campsite. No connection problems or slow responses whatsoever. Having the AC power has allowed me to power a 300 watt hot water kettle and a small Dash grill for making breakfast on the road. River 2 is small enough that there is no reason to not keep one in the truck at all times.
Really loving it!
II bought the ExoFlow River 2 for truck bed camping! I started making YouTube videos about a month ago with my son and this is what we use for our primary power! We really do enjoy it! Thanks again! #FamilyManCampingAdventures
Smart and usefull
I like my river 2 station and used a lot of features of this station. For my case it is useful to have an ability to charge a station via usb-c. Also i like an ability to change charging input wattage from the app
Perfect use for emergencies!
I did some testing on the device, and it works as well as you’d expect. I tested it by charging phones to how long it would last on keeping my heating blanket on (needed to test this due to my disability). Charging phones will last a very long time as it uses very little voltage, while my heating blanket drained it within 4-6 hours (around 250 watts(not constant, very fluctuating)). I do plan on ordering 2 more of these to help my community to keep both communications and entertainment for a time in case power goes out. This is extremely handy as I lived in texas during the freeze when the power plants collapsed. Very useful for future disasters!
Helpful for weekend trips & power outages
I've wanted an electric generator for a while, especially as electrical grids become increasingly strained (for a variety of reasons). I couldn't afford plunging right into a Delta 2 and still wanted a portable solution to bring with me while camping / overlanding. This meets most of my expectations and I'm really happy with it. It holds a decent amount of charge that, depending on the devices I'm recharging, this can easily last a full weekend recharging laptops, tablets, and mobile phones. If you were recharging only mobile phones and small batteries, this would last quite a while. For my purposes of keeping devices charged up (phones, headlamps, lanterns, camera batteries, iPad, Nintendo Switch) while camping, I haven't run out over the course of a weekend. On longer week-long trips, I definitely get usage out of the car charger and get this charged back up while driving to the next site. I do love how this charges up to full in an hour's time when using the wall outlet. The build quality seems pretty robust, because on one occasion, it had an unfortunate fall of about 4 feet out the back of my Subaru, with no damage to show except a small chip in the plastic near the handle. I wish I could test this with an EcoFlow solar panel but haven't been able to get ahold of one yet. I do find it a bit annoying that for extra configuration settings, you're required to not only download the app, but also make an account. And, in some cases, I think if your devices aren't pulling enough energy flow from the River 2, the LED doesn't quantify / display how much output it is currently facilitating.
Started out great…
The power bank started out great. Worked really well. Used it for several camping trips in the fall. Now, tried to use it for spring break… charged it up and it barely held a charge. Kept charging it and still doesn’t really hold a charge. Really disappointed.
Better app than bluetti eb3a
I got the ecoflow river 2 and the bluetti eb3a and I would say the river 2 wins even tho the bluetti can output more energy. there’s really no point in discharging that much energy when the battery is only 267 watt hours unless you have a expansion battery hooked up somehow. I basically use this to run lighting and a couple fans in a shed and the river is perfect for this task. It definitely beats the bluetti when it comes to the app. The bluetti eb3a has Bluetooth but it doesn’t have WiFi so you can’t control it when you’re away from home also you have far more control over your powerstation with the eco flow.
Don't recommend.
loses charge fast. Fully charges fast, a week later has no charge.
