GREAT SHOES

500 MILE REVIEW These shoes have a wide toe box, great traction of the bike, good stiffness on the bike, and have held up very well over time. I used to own Five ten kestrals and loved those and these are even better. I used these for mountain and gravel riding, switching between crankbrorthers mallets and egg beaters. These shoe also make a good clipless bikepacking shoe as well.

stiff and durable

I have about 1 year and 500 miles with these shoes and they are great. I ride mostly all mountain with a lot of climbing and tough descents. The high stiffness of these works well for climbing, and also for keeping my feet from fatiguing during bike park days. Really good protection on the toes, I appreciate that for the random times a rock gets kicked up at my foot. Very little signs of wear, so the durability is fantastic.

Older feet neet wider shoes

Biking is fun but not if your feet hurt. Older feet get wider and loose fat padding on the soles. My days of narrow carbon fiber bike shoes had to come to an end. I've been on my first 400 miles in these shoes and they're working out. They are low technology with laces and have a Velcro strap that not only keeps laces out of the drive train but help keep the shoes snug with any effort exerted pulling up when clipped in. They are comfortable enough to walk around in camp/public if one is touring by bike.

Shoes work great! The are comfortable and fit well. The toe box is huge for a cycling shoe, which I require. These shoes have been a great find for me.
