Sizing Different From Clog Danskos
These boots are different sizing from regular clog Danskos, they are more like a conventional boot, I bought a 37 but I think I might need a 38. I'm consistently a size 37 in Dansko and Birkenstock. 7.5 in regular shoes. My feet are kind of wide, these might be good if you have narrow feet. My toes feel too close to the tip of the boot. There is a strong chemical or mold smell,possibly the waterproofing. The leather is attractive, a pebbly soft black, and the form is classic. But if you are looking for a wide toebox and are used to clog boots these are too narrow. You might want to size up from regular Dansko size, probably best to try on in store if you can.
Exactly What I was After
The whole winter was spent looking for a pair of waterproof boots that could be worn in a semi-dressy office environment, and comfortable enough to walk home in. Nearly ready to give when the husband asked, did you look at REI? And what do you know, I found exactly what I was looking for in ten seconds. Having worn other Dansko shoes, the sizing was consistent across styles. Beautiful, already broken-in feel. Shoes for the rest of my life.

These arrived a few days ago and I’m a huge fan already! Comfortable and supportive with no break in period. Very cute and well made. TTS. Love the brown color - goes with everything! If you’re having second thoughts, don’t hesitate!
Rainy season travel boot
exactly what I needed for international travel during rainy season, felt comfy right away without a break in period. Went for lots of walks and never had a problem even when these were brand new. Only thing was I need to wear higher socks with this as it did bother me when top part of boot rubs on my ankle. Easy to match with just about anything.
