I really like these with my snowshoes and have used on several deep, snowy adventures.. Dry feet, not too heavy comfortable during first use. I have wide-ish feet (usually a Keen or Altra kind of gal, but own several other brands) and haven't had issues yet. I bought them to replace an older pair of Salomon snow boots and these have so far performed better than those ever did. I went up a full size (I'm a 7 and bought an 8) and glad I did, based on reading other reviews and measuring my foot and reviewing the sizing. I have enough room for a thicker sock and my toes are not squished in the box.
Purchased these to expand my hiking into the winter season. I have one other pair of Asolo boots which were a size 8. I sized up to 8.5 for these to accommodate heavier socks. Right out of the box, I did two four milers and one five miler encountering mud, water crossings, ice and scrambling. Very happy with the warmth, waterproofing, sturdiness and comfort. Minus one star because the laces stink. They loosen quickly and being so thin they are difficult to tie when it's cold. Replacing with better laces.
