Small But Mighty Contour Feather

I own several knives and i particularly like this one because it is small and very light weight. It isn't made of cheap steel for one thing and it is full tang as well. Although you can't baton huge pieces of wood, it does a good job with kindling. This the Contour Feather does an awesome job at making feathersticks as well. I think a huge factor for me was the included ceramic sharpener along with the ferro rod. You literally have all you need on this knife! It comes with a really nice kydex sheath and awesome retention for the clip that is included. You can also wear this as a neck knife. It also has a whistle in the handle. All in all im happy with it. Its a very functional knife!

Great little knife

Don’t let the small size fool you, this is a very capable knife. It is full tang VG10 steel making it super strong even for its small size. The sheath is a great addition especially with the ferro rod and sharpener. Overall it’s the perfect knife for doing anything outdoors.

Great little tool

I like this little knife. Great little utility. The ferro rod and whistle are great along with the knife sharpener. The blade is alright. For the price, this is a cool little knife. I do have an issue with the ferro rod. I dropped it and it broke off right at the base. I've been unable to get the little nub out. Would be a great design if they put a notch so you could use a screwdriver to get it out.

Useful features, compact tool

The whistle and integral sharpener are particularly useful. The diminutive handle fits my average sized hands surprisingly well. This is a lightweight unit with handy features - The ferro rod striker is all I need to start my canister stove readily. I will carry this nice item a lot in future trips....

Great Camping Knife

Packs a big punch in a small package. Includes a whistle, ferro rod, and a really nice sheath that has a sharpener attached to it. It's the only knife I take camping now.

Excellent little knife!

This is just about a perfect knife. A firesteel + sharpener in the sheath and a small but capable sharp blade (that’s great for whittling too!)

Dressed a Whitetail with It! Keeps my pack light.

I bought this to have a small backup knife for hunting whitetail deer. It came in really handy the other day, and I was able to dress a deer in the field with it. Full tang and maneuverable , I could even cut through parts of the sternum with it. The sharpener on the sheath was really handy, and the fire starter is a comfort to have in the field. The size is what is so great for trying to pack light and fit all my essential gear in a small shoulder bag. The only thing I would suggest to make this little guy perfect is a gut hook in place of the nut socket.

Would buy again

I bought the as an impulse purchase, I just liked it when I saw it. For what I paid I have been impressed with this knife. The knife clocks in secure to the holder and the clip feels good enough to carry on my belt. The blade is not the sharpest but sharp enough for day to day tasks. The fire starter takes just a little practice Ave was able to steer my first ever magnesium rod fire within about 5 minutes. This is not my primary blade but is now my favorite backup.

Not quite up to expectations

Didn't hold an edge and wasn't very sharp. Difficult to throw sparks with. Comfortable handle and nice sheath. Returned it to store.
