Extremely tight on calves
Was excited to try these boots after getting a recommendation from a friend. The boots were comfortable when I tried them on but, they back of the boot really dig into my calves when skiing. I don’t believe I have thick calves, but these boots weee painful after skiing for a few hours. I called Apex to see if they recommended any particular adjustment, but never received a call back.
Amazing Boot for Ease of Adjustment!
I love my Blanca boots! I have thicker calfs and because of this having ski boots that dont cut off blood circulation is very hard to find. I saw a women have this 2 part boot system, so I decided to look into them. I tried them on at the store and I LOVED how they felt on my feet, but also around my calfs. I could tighten as much as I needed. They are amazing on the slopes and allow me to ski all day instead of only a few runs.

I was in the market for new boots after 6years on my worn out Nordica boots. Heard about Apex boots from a friend telling me how warm and comfortable hers are. Went to REI and tried them on. Couldn't believe how comfortable they felt at the store, even before breaking them in. Can't wait to get them on the slopes.
