Nice ride, extremely difficult to work with.
The ride quality of these tires is good, probably a B, with Conti 5000 being an A. Traction in corners is very good, they feel secure. I honestly cannot detect a difference in rolling resistance. However, like the newer Continental 5000S they are just too difficult for me to mount and dismount (Astral Solstice rims). I have used Vittoria and Continental tires for at least 25 years and have never needed anything more than my hands to mount a tire or more than a single tire tool to remove them. Repairing a flat on the road would be extremely frustrating, a job that I have always been able to do in less than 15 minutes. I have the tires set up tubeless with Stan’s and haven’t had any punctures yet. Hopefully Stan’s will do its thing because I really don’t know if I could get the tire off, a tube in and remount the tire.
